A/N: This story takes place four years after Chapter 9 in Deounment Beauty. It was about time that we discovered exactly who Bucky was and is to Sigyn and her family.

Song inspiring this story:

"He won't love you like I would

He don't know your body

He don't do you right

He won't love you like I would

Love you like I would..."

- Like I Would by Zayn

When it had first been suggested, she hadn't been sure. But now, she couldn't imagine anyone else living with them.

Bucky and she had been close when she had first come to Midgard under the guise as Iselda, but with both of them still struggling with recently losing someone, it only seemed right.

Sigyn had lost Loki, but had been given a small parting gift in that of Astrid, her now nearly four year old daughter. Bucky had lost Steve nearly nine years ago in their final encounter with Thanos; how the Avengers had defeated the mad Titan, she dared not to ask.

When she had first come to Midgard with Vali and Narvi and unknowingly, Astrid, she had thought it be best not to live at Avengers tower for very long, as they could only give her sad eyes and, they were not too fond of having two twin boys running around the tower at all hours, especially not Loki's sons.

She had nearly moved in with Thor, Jane and Torrun, but they too reminded her too much of Loki. It wasn't that she hated Loki but she wished to forget him, because forgetting him was easier than dealing with the truth that he was gone. It was impossible as every day Vali and Narvi each exhibited traits that were like their father. And when Astrid had been born, she only wished that Loki had been there to see their daughter - though for this moment in time only Thor and Bucky knew of Astrid's true parentage.

It was this precise moment that had sparked rumors that Astrid was Bucky's daughter, and for a time it bothered Sigyn. Day and night she battled with telling the other Avengers that it was indeed Loki's, but the thought of having their sad eyes on her again, of having to deal with telling Vali and Narvi and others that it was Loki's last gift to her... it crushed her soul. It was the one gift of Loki's she wished to protect and keep for herself, even if it was a tad bit selfish.

It was because of those rumors that she found herself in this situation tonight. For the third time in two weeks, Bucky had taken Sigyn out. He had recently been showing some sort of feelings towards her, but the Goddess hadn't been sure until that fateful morning in the kitchen while they were preparing pancakes in the kitchen. She had batter on her nose, and as he wiped it off, he had stared into her eyes before they both quickly locked lips.

It had been a chance kiss and spur of the moment, but it had lingered on their minds for a little over two weeks before the Winter Soldier summoned all of his courage and asked her out on a date. The first date had been easy to hide, they had waited till all three of the kids were in bed and had a nice meal. The second date had been a bit trickier as they had gone to the park with the kids and had a picnic. The kids hadn't seemed to notice, though Sigyn and Bucky were careful about an displays of affection near the kids.

It wasn't that Bucky was worried what others thought, but Sigyn did. She hadn't found the time to tell Narvi, and Vali that 'Uncle Bucky' was a little more special to Sigyn than just their roommate and babysitter. Astrid never thought of him as anything else and while she did call him Uncle Bucky now, there had been a time when she had called him 'Dad'. This unnerved Sigyn as she didn't want the boys to think anything less of their father or, for them to think that she had forgotten Loki.
