"Hey I got to go to the bathroom, is it still just the one in your bedroom?" Virgil asked Patton while he picked Logan off of him. The logical man groaned but stayed asleep.

"The door to the bathroom is still a bit loose so be careful."

Virgil nodded and chuckled to himself. Roman had broke the door trying to show that he was strong and manly. Luckily Roman himself didn't get hurt.

Virgil walked into his room, a phone buzzing immediately caught his attention. It said his mom was calling, weird. Virgil looked around before answering.

"Hello?"

"Oh hello, is Payton here?"

"Um, sorry ma'am, I only know a Patton "

"Right right, that's what she calls herself.  Just give her the phone."

"O-ok one se-second" Virgil walked out of Patton's room with wide eyes. He couldn't believe what he just heard... Patton had been lying to them.

"Hey kiddo what's wrong? You seem scared." Patton stood up and walked towards him only to be shoved away.

"You lied to us! Who even are you??!" Virgil yelled making Logan and Roman looked at the two on shock.

"Virgil what do you mean? He's Patton always has been." Roman stood up and crossed his arms ready to defend his bestfriend, Patton would never lie, especially to them.

"H-her real name is P-payton, and her parents called and it turns o-out they don't hate he-her" Virgil showed the phone that rested in his hand

Logan walked over to Virgil, silently saying he was on his side. That was what always happened in a fight, you'd stand by the person you felt was right and it showed they were on their side.

To Patton's suprise Roman stood next to him "how about you hear him out first? Logan aren't you the one who keeps telling us not to jump to conclusions?" There was silence for a few moments.

"He lied to us Roman.  Look how scared Virgil is. She was our friend, how do we know she isn't some fraud? Maybe just here so just can get something... more if you know what I mean." Logan crossed his arms and spoke coldly, it made Patton back up slowly.

"I-i do-n't want th-that!" Patton had many tears flowing down his face, he flinched each time he was misgendered or his dead name was said. "I-i-i was sca-scared you wo-wouldn't want t-o be fr-friends with me i-if I was ftm!"

Logan froze "o-oh...." he looked down a fell quiet, feeling guilty. Virgil didn't forgive that easily. "You still lied to us! How do you expect us to believe you know?!"

"I-i-i- " Patton couldn't reply anymore, Roamn wrapped his arms around the panicked man.

Logan looked down and sighed before saying a sorry and leaving the house, he didn't want to deal with this right now.

Virgil watched him leave "FUCK YOU!" He stormed out the house and called an uber to pick him up.

"Patton, shh, it's ok" Roman spoke softly as he hugged him tight. He didn't care if Patton wasn't a man from birth, he was still a man in his eyes. "You're no less of a man that before I knew you were trans."

That.. that were the words Patton always wanted to hear. He looked up at Roman, his eyes puffy and tears still falling down his face yet he wore a small smile. "Thank you.... s-so much Rom-an.."

Roman nodded and picked him up and carefully. He laid.him on the couch and quickly looked for a blanket. To his luck there was on by the side of the couch. He picked it up and laid it on top of Patton, "Get some rest, I'll be here in the morning ok?"

The smallest of the two nodded and curled up "n-night Ro..."

"Good night Patton"

It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, and Roman was glad. He picked up his phone and dialed his parents' number.

"Hello?"

"Hello is this Patton's mom?"

"Tell her to stop calling herself that, please. "

"/his/ name is Patton. /he/ is a boy. Get it right. "

"I have been getting it right. She was born a girl therefore she is one."

"Well you were born nice but you're a bitch now."

Yeah- she hung up, causing Roman to sigh. "People today I swear.." He put down the phone and tried to think of something to cheer Patton up once he wakes.

A minute passes before he got an amazing idea, he quickly got the keys to Patton's car and walked out to it.

When he got back to the house he had flowers, chocolates, and Logan with him.
