(Error's POV)
Me and Ink weren't ready for this kind of moment. Not yet.
"I-ink, I'm sorry.." I said, not believing what happened.
Our- no, their team was ruined. I was the one who ruined it.
"E-error, it's fine. It's my fault for bringing you in I-"
"NO! It's MY fault!" I interrupted him, my glitches suddenly increasing all over my body. "I was the one who wanted to be a part of you guys-- I just felt bored, only doing my normal job everyday! I've never felt what it was, to have this kind of group, unlike Nightmare's!"
"It's mainly ours, Error.. I'm really sorry for involving you into this. I-i never planned for things to happen like this!!" Ink sat down, putting his hands on his face which was full of frustration and guilt, while he sat down on the floor.
And for the first time, I felt sorry.
Guilt.
For everything I've done.
The anger on Ink's face when we always fought when I'd destroy an alternate universe before, I'd used to grin at it but now...
It just made me feel regret and sadness looking at him like this right now.
Like I had feelings for him, never like before.
"Ink." I said, touching his shoulder. "We can still fix this. Let's act like nothing ever happened. We'll run away, we'll be partners and we'll protect the alternate universes. Can you do that?"
He looked at me with an unsure face, not knowing how to react what I said.
"Error.. you've changed a lot. Before you were always irritated about me, you hated everyone and thought that you had no purpose in the universe. Right now... you're willing to help me.. of course I'd want to stay with you!" He smiled, hugging me. I was surprised that my phobia didn't kick in but I was more happier to see Ink smiling, after what happened.
