Night fell like a rich velvet blanket across the sky, enveloping all sense of daylight and leaving the moon as the only salvation in the darkness. On such a chilling evening in the midst of November, a figure traversed through the silent gardens of the Second Suoh Mansion, his only companion within the obscurity being the sound of crunching leaves beneath his feet.
