Today is the day that I go see Jeremy Jordan in concert. The concert is at the 54 Below. I get out of bed, and go make breakfast for myself. I make fluffy, blueberry waffles with maple syrup. Once the breakfast is ready, I sit down on the couch, and put the television on. Right when the tv comes on, I see Jeremy's face. I turn the volume up, to hear what they are saying about him. Right when I turned the volume up, the newscaster was saying "Jeremy Jordan will be playing Dr. Pomatter in Waitress on Broadway." I completely, dropped my breakfast on the rug. I then looked at the rug, and kind of got annoyed that not only I dropped my breakfast but also my rug was all sticky, and messed up. But then I remembered what I just heard on the news, and decided to forget about the mess for a minute. I grabbed my laptop, and sat back on the couch. I went online, and searched up Waitress tickets. I saw the date I wanted to see him, and picked the fourth row in orchestra. I just couldn't believe that today was my lucky day. First I see Jeremy tonight, then I'll see him in Waitress a few weeks after. I now put the laptop down, and clean up the rest of the mess on the floor. Once the mess is clean, I put the dirty dishes in the sink, and grab a granola bar. When I finish eating the bar, I go to my room to throw some random clothes on. I won't get dressed in my nice clothes until later. I then decide I want to pick my outfit for tonight, so I don't have to look for it later. I start to look through my closet, and see that there is literally nothing to wear. So I think to myself "hmm I guess I'll have to go buy something." I then leave my room, after I'm done getting ready. I walk into the kitchen, and put my shoes on. I then grab my apartment keys, and lock the door. I head downstairs to hail a cab to a store. I go to Macy's to look for a dress.

When I arrive at Macy's I go to the dress section. I look at red dresses, blue dresses, white dresses and pink dresses. I also look at different designs and patterns on the dresses. There was really nothing I liked. Then before I walked away from the dresses, I saw a pretty pink one, all the way in the back of the dress section. It had a pretty pink lace top, and a pretty skirt bottom. I knew that, that was the one, so I brought it to the register, and payed for it.

I now walk out of the store

I now walk out of the store. I hail a cab back to my apartment. Once I get back, it's about 5:30pm. I go into my room, and lay my dress on the bed. I then go to my bathroom to curl my hair and do my makeup. For my makeup, it's pretty simple, light pink lipstick, mascara, and a little neural eyeshadow. I then put my dress, and shoes on. I look at myself in the mirror one more time, before I grab my clutch, and head out the door. The 54 Below was only a few blocks from my apartment, so I walked. When I got there, I told them my name, and they brought me to a big booth in the back of the venue. The 54 Below was pretty small, so there was no bad seat in the house. As it was nearing time for the show, people kept filling up the seats. I decided to order dinner. I ordered a nice glass of red wine, and the Amish style chicken. A few minutes before the show started, a nice couple sat in the booth with me, and we all chatted for a bit. Before you know it, it was 7 o'clock. The show was now starting. The lights dimmed, and Ben Rauhala came and sat by the piano. As he started playing, Jeremy came out on stage and started singing "Broadway, Here I Come!" I smiled widely, as my favorite singer, sang one of my favorite songs. Once the song was over, I stood up and cheered loudly. Everyone then looked at me. I felt awkward, and sat back down. When I was cheering, I got Jeremy's attention, and he smiled and winked at me. I felt my heart flutter. All I could think is, "omg my favorite singer, and the person I have the biggest crush on, actually acknowledged me." Jeremy then sang some of my other favorite songs. Before the show was concluded, he decided to sing "Sing She Used To Be Mine" from Waitress. I then remembered that I just got tickets to see him in Waitress. I freaked out so much that he was sing the song, that I must of sang along, umm maybe too loud for everyone's liking. Jeremy heard me, and stopped in the middle of the song and said,
"Hey sweetheart, you are too awesome! Thanks for singing along with your beautiful voice."
Me literally fainting from him talking to me, I squealed out, "You're welcome! Thank youuuuuu!!!!!"
He just smiled, and laughed. He then finished the rest of the song. When the cabaret was concluded, he said to everyone in the audience, "Thank you everyone for coming, I love you all."
He then looked directly at me again. I thought to myself, "What, is this fate? That Jeremy is actually taking notice of me?" People started to leave, but Jeremy motioned me to stay in my seat, so of course I did. Once everyone left, Jeremy came and sat in the booth with me.
"Hi sweetie, what's your name?" I'm so shocked that he's actually talking to me, that I didn't really pay attention to what he was saying.
"Wait what?"
"What is your name?"
"Oh hey, hi oh I'm, I'm y/n!"
He laughs, "I guess you are not used to talking to people you idolize."
"Nope."
"Well that's ok. No worries at all. Did you enjoy the show?"
"Of course!! It was so amazing."
"Well I'm glad you liked it. Hey, do you want to get a drink with me?"
"Sure! I'd love too."
Jeremy then motioned for the waiter. The waiter comes over, and Jeremy orders two glasses of red wine.
"Thanks for ordering."
"Of course sweetheart. So tell me some about yourself."
"Ok well, I really want to be on Broadway, I'm living with a roommate named Katelynn, and I love riding horses up at my stable in upstate New York."
"That is so amazing. You should totally be on Broadway, you have a great voice. Oh and riding horses, now that's cool!!"
"You really think I could handle being on Broadway?"
"Of course, from what I've seen, you seem perfect. And you're very beautiful too."
"Oh Jeremy, you are too kind."
He just smiles. The drinks come, and we both cheers with our glasses. Jeremy then asks how I became his fan.
"How did I become your fan? Well, I fell in love with your voice, and how funny you are, I've seen a lot of your shows, and, well, ummm, you're really ummm you know uh hot."
Jeremy smiled, and giggled a bit. He then looked down at my lips, and I thought I knew what was coming next, so I clenched my dress. Jeremy leaned in, and kissed my lips softly. I closed my eyes when he kissed me. As he let go of my lips, I opened my eyes again. We both smiled at each other.
"What was that for?"
"I think you are an amazing person, and I really like you. Sorry I really know that was fas-."
I leaned in, and kissed him again. This time the kiss was longer, and more passionate.
"Or maybe it wasn't too fast?"
"Nope. Well maybe, but whatever." We both laughed.
"Well, this might be a silly question, but do you maybe want to go on a date with me, like say tomorrow?"
I take Jeremy's hands and look into his beautiful eyes,
"Oh Jeremy I'd love too. What time?"
"How about 5pm?"
"Sounds good to me."
Jeremy and I both got up and started to hug goodbye. We both kissed as well. As we were leaning in for the kiss, Ben came out of the back room, and said
"Woah what's going on here?" We looked to see Ben.
"Oh Ben hi uh this is y/n, she uh, was uh at the um concert tonight. We've been talking, and we have our first date tomorrow."
"Oh hi y/n, it's nice to meet you. Congratulations on finding Jeremy. He's a wonderful, kind person. You'll love him."
"Thank you Ben."
Ben smiles. He then watches me and Jeremy finish our kiss. Jeremy then takes my hand, and I wave by to Ben. Jeremy then brings me out the door, and hails a cab. When the cab arrives, he hugs me goodbye. I then get in the cab. I can't wait to see Jeremy again tomorrow. I then remember, "Omg I'm going to be dating the guy who's going to be in Waitress. Maybe I could go to rehearsals with him. Oh my goodness I can't even believe what just happened." I thought about this all the way back to my apartment. As soon as I know, I'm back home. I get out of the cab, pay the driver, and walk into the building. Tomorrow is a big day. I can't wait.
