Author note or whatever you guys do
Alright, guys so I was having a hard time updating this as you know this story is gay but then I just decided to go for it and jump straight to the wedding chapter. I didn't feel like doing the bachelor parties and crap, so I'll just tell you what they did. Cara did a "set sail before the veil," where Cara and her friends went on a cruise or something. Meanwhile, the guys did something idk I forgot what they did but yeah. Anyway, let's just jump into it or something.

May 11

9:21 AM

Here goes nothing. The day I've dreamed about since a child. For breakfast, I ate a sausage muffin. I was too excited and nervous so my teeth were chattering when I ate. Then I brushed my teeth since we don't want gross breath sis. Not before I kiss my man.

My mom and aunt then helped me get ready. My aunt has worked as a makeup artist and has done wedding makeup before. I was sold when I saw the makeup she did. She's really good at it. So I took my shower and got everything ready. Meanwhile, my bridesmaids had everything together except hair and makeup.

12:30

Everyone was pretty much ready. I wasn't quite sure about Eye Sack since I had a hunch that he was playing games with his buddies, but I had faith that he did the right thing.

1:00

I heard the music from our wedding playlist in the background right before the big doors opened from the back of the chapel. It was beautifully decorated with pink peonies and roses. There were gold ribbons tied between each bench where everyone sat.

At the front, I caught a glimpse of the reserved seats of my family and Isaac's. I was so ready to get this over with and take on whatever happens in the future with Isaac.

As I finally got into my place at the altar. Isaac was staring at me with a mix between a smirk and a smile. He laughed under his breath, which caused me to laugh. I tried not to do a huge belly laugh. Then it was time.

"Welcome everyone. Isaac and Cara have chosen you, those special and important to them, to witness and celebrate the beginning of their life together. Today, as we create this marriage, we also create a new bond and new sense of family - one that will undoubtedly include all who are present here today," Isaac's dad said.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Isaac and Cara. Welcome friends and family! We're glad to have you with us," Isaac's dad, Toby said.

"Today is the beginning of a remarkable journey for this couple. Drawing on their mutual admiration, respect, and trust, they are ready to embark on the next chapter in their lives. We celebrate the love and light evident in their relationship and wish them well on this joyous occasion."

"If anyone has cause to object to the forming of this union, speak now or forever hold your peace." No one spoke up.

"Marriage is an integral part of the human tradition. Let us remember, as we stand here before God, that the vows taken today hold great importance, just as they did to our ancestors. As individuals, we make the choice to enter the union of marriage in order to share all aspects of ourselves with our soulmate. Today, this is true for Isaac and Cara."

Toby stopped for a second to flip the page in his Bible.

"As the Bible reminds us in Corinthians, 'If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.'"

"I will now invite the couple to share their vows with one another. Isaac and Cara, the promises you make today are sacred; they are the groundwork from which your marriage will grow and blossom over time. Cara, would you like to begin first?"
