It took a few weeks for Isaac to move out completely. I was doing yoga on the weekends, therapy on Tuesday's and Thursday's, and getting more involved with my small group at church. I also have an interview in two days for an editing job- newspaper, media, magazine- or anything that involves editing.
Everything was looking up for me. My friends and family were so supportive of me.
Isaac and I also worked something out between us, but we decided it wouldn't be the same. We can tolerate each other because we go to the same church. His family also loves me so that would've been a problem if we didn't tolerate each other.
I'll always love him but I've learned to move on. I'm not sure about how he feels about me, but I'll worry about myself for now.
A week later
"Hello, Mr. Bard?" I had gotten a call from the interviewer-boss dude at 2:33 PM. "Cara, would you like the good news or the bad news first?"Crap. There was good news, but of course, bad news had to follow it.
"Um.. bad news..?" "I'm kidding, Cara. There's only good news."
Thank God. I was relieved. I could hear the smile in his voice- the same one he had during the interview.
"Okay, what is it? I'm excited!" "Cara.. you got the job!"I had so much adrenaline pumping through my veins. I got the job! "Omg, thank you so much Mr. Bard!"
Everything seemed good, at least for now.
