Feeling This

Michael wasn't sure.

He wasn't sure how long he spent ignoring Luke.

And to be quiet honest with himself, he didn't even find it hard to.

It frustrated him with how easily he let Luke in again. Of course, he should have realized that Luke was ashamed of him, that he wasn't good enough.

Michael felt like a joke.

But within the fallout with Luke, he met up with old friends and they smoked like no tomorrow.

Luke soon didn't matter.

Michael was letting himself forget, even if it was just nights at a time.

But even with all the anger, within time, Michael deflated and every time he tried to forget, the memories would just come back violently, not wanting to be forgot.

Luke felt he was taking the 'fighting with Michael Clifford' a little too far.

When it came to his mum's question, Luke was more than able to ignore it and walk off. It was much easier that way.

Luke started to show up for his homeroom period and he found that his uniform wasn't sporting the usual rumpling up that it normally had. It happened for a long time, he will admit and it wasn't that the easy to abandon that routine.

Calum was a little more respectful towards him and Luke found it easier to listen to him, whether it was complaining about the teachers or students but Calum's favourite person to talk about was Michael.

"Woah, look at that fag..."

"Here comes the faggot..."

"Hey look, it's the high ass, shady wannabe..."

Ashton would always scold Calum and give him a mini-lecture about insults but the dark headed boy would always be quick to either cut Ashton off or change the subject.

Luke found that Ashton was his closest friend at school but found it completely shocking when Ashton wanted to catch up with Luke after school.

It was long and tiresome day and Luke couldn't help but feel utterly wrecked. He had multiple assignments that were due the following week but had no motivation to do anything about them.

It was when Luke was halfway walking home, that he realised that he actually agreed to meeting up with Ashton and how the boy was going to pick him up at around four-thirty.

Luke started to pick up the pace, not wanting to unorganised for when Ashton showed up, (and because more often than not, Luke found that he unintentionally procrastinated while in the shower and took about half an hour to get out.)

He made it home, in time to take one of his famously long showers, style his hair and get dressed before he got a text from Ashton.

Ashton: Be there soon (:

After scrambling for his shoes and successfully putting them on properly, he heard a knock at the front door.

His mum, Liz, was at work now and wouldn't be back until late so Luke quickly wrote a note explaining his whereabouts if she was to come home early.
