~ Tonys pov~
We left school and headed to the pharmacy. When we got there he parked.
"I'll go in and get it." I said. He nodded. I walked inside and went to the back. I saw a pharmacist.
"What can I do for ya, kid?" The guy asked. I handed him the prescription. "Alright, it can be done by 7 tonight. Think you can pick it up then?" He asked.
"Oh, most definitely." I said. He nodded. "See you then." I said. I turned and bumped into someone causing them to drop all the stuff they were carrying. I helped them pick it up. "Sorry." I said.
"Perry?" I heard a familiar voice ask.
"Radke." I said standing up with him and handing him the box in my hand.
"Thanks." He said.
"Uh no problem." I said. "Uh, why have you attacked me earlier?" I asked.
"I have episodes." He said. "I'm just pissed that Mike broke up with me." He said. I sighed.
"Look, I'm not with Mike. And I am NOT falling for him." I said. He sighed.
"I get that. I really do. But I'm serious, be careful with him." He said. "That's if you do get with him. But either way." He said.
"I will, trust me. I'm not letting my guard down." I said. "Listen, can you and I like make peace?" I asked.
"Yeah, man. I'm sorry." He said.
"It's alright, man. I'm fine." I said. He nodded. "I'll see you at school." I said. He nodded.
"See you. And oh, if you ever need anything, just uh unblock my number." He said.
"Alright, yeah. Thanks." I said. He nodded. I walked out the pharmacy and got into the car.
"What took you so long?" He asked driving off.
"Oh there was a long line." I said. Although I was lying no one could figure it out.
"Alright." He said. He got home and we got out. "What time do we pick up the meds?" He asked.
"7." I said. He nodded. We got home and got out. We walked inside and I saw Vic and Kellin doing homework.
"Hey, you okay?" Kellin asked looking up at me.
"Hey, yeah I am." I said.
"Your body language tells differently." He said.
"I,uh, have a lot on my mind." I said.
"Vic, let's take a little break." He said. "Tony, out back." He said. I nodded and walked out the back door. I sat on the hammock. Kellin sat beside me after a minute. "What's going on?" He asked.
"It's just, everyone acts like I can't handle myself with people. My mom for one, my dad and Ronnie." I said.
"What do you mean with Ronnie?" He asked.
"If I were to be with Mike, he's telling me to be careful. Or even just being friends that I need to be careful." I said.
"Look, Ronnie doesn't really talk shit. But I still wouldn't trust him." He said. I sighed.
"But I'm falling for Mike." I said. "Slowly." I said. He sighed.
"Alright, well I wish you best of luck. He's a good guy and boyfriend. I've seen it." He said.
"Thanks." I said. He patted my leg. "And Kellin." I said.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Thank you." I said.
"You're welcome." He said and left. Vic sat beside me.
"So you do like my brother?" He asked.
"Yeah, I do. It's like a crush." I said.
"I know." He said. "Be good to my brother." He said.
"I will." I said. He patted my back and left. I sighed and went inside. I went into my room and shut the door. I changed into swimming trunks. I walked downstairs and went out back to the pool. I got in and surfaced. I started relaxing. I heard the door to the back open. I saw Mike and Vic come out. Good thing they can't see me.
"Mike, if you like him, you need to change to be able to be with him." Vic said.
"Vic, you don't get it. My past his hard to change." He said.
"You know that you CAN." Vic said. He sighed.
"I'm gonna go swimming." He said. Vic went inside. I started swimming. "You know, Tony." He said siting on the edge of the pool by me.
"What?" I asked.
"You know how hard it is to change a past don't you?" He asked. I swam to him and got out and sat beside him.
"I wish I did." I said.
"Look, Tony. Can I please try something?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said. We both leaned in but were interrupted by some shouting in the house. "This can't be good." I said. We got up and ran inside. We saw Craig and Pete in there yelling at Kellin and Vic. I walked over. "Guys get out of here." I said. Craig and Pete looked at me. Pete went to hit me but I stopped him by punching him in the stomach. He fell to the floor. Craig went to hit me but Mike got him. "I may be a quiet kid, but you don't know me." I said. I pulled my phone out and unblocked Ronnie's number. I called it.
"Hello?" He asked.
"There's a mess of yours here, if you want them alive. You better come and get them, now." I said and hung up. I crouched to their level since they were both sitting up. "Now, if you ever come near me again, I will make sure that you don't live." I said.
"You're nothing but a weak kid." Craig said. I punched him in the jaw. "Ah fuck!" He yelled.
"Not so weak am I? You see I took defense classes." I said. "I'm not weak. I just don't like to fight." I said. Pete hit me. I started beating the shit out of him. I got pulled off by Ronnie.
"Man, what's going on?!" Ronnie yelled. Mike went to punch him.
"Mike, don't." I said. He stopped. Ronnie let go of me. "Get your friends out of here, radke. Because in the end, if they are to come near me again and hurt me, oh they will be dead, Ronnie." I said.
"Pete, Craig. Get the fuck out of here." He said. Craig and Pete ran out. "Tony, thanks for calling me. Because they were gonna try and do something stupid." He said. I nodded. "Well bye guys." He said and left. I sighed. Mike came over to me.
"Are you okay?" Mike asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Let's go back to the pool." He said. I followed him and we sat on the edge. "I didn't know you had that in you." He said.
"I'm a uh surprising kid." I said. He nodded.
"Can I try that again?" He asked. I nodded. We leaned in and our lips touched. We started kissing.
My feelings started growing stronger and stronger for him by the minute.
We pulled away and I smiled and he smiled.
