Chapter 2 - Secret admire

Tessie P.O.V

Next day I woke up early, got ready for school and before I knew it, I stood at the school entrance, waiting for Alex. I want to thank him for the roses and tell him how happy I am for his feelings! As I stood there waiting, I saw Mary coming with her friends. She is one of my off and on friends, but lately I haven't talked with her. I waved at her, when she saw me she smiled nervously to me. She said something to her friends and then waved to them, she was coming over to me. "Good morning, why so early?" She was now in front of me, smiling. "I am waiting for Alex" She looked nervous again. "Why? You don't usually do that?" She put her hands behind her back, looking curious at me. "Yesterday he gave me roses and wrote on a note that he loves me, so I want to thank him for them." I blushed as I said it. Mary stood surprised, but I can understand that. This isn't like Alex, to do such a sweet thing. But well, not that I hate that, not at all! She gave a smile again, this time more frustrated than nervous. "How sweet of him! Well, I need to go now." She waved and ran into the school.

Alex wasn't here, but now Ann came. Her eyes god wide open when she saw me, but who wouldn't be surprised. Tessie, the OH so lazy girl, who always comes late, is now standing here waiting for school to begin! She ran up to me, while a big smile on her lips. "Morning Tes!" When she came up to me, she gave me a big hug, not giving me a chance to greet her. "Well this is unexpected! Seeing you standing here earlier, I must still be dreaming!" We laughed, and then she linked her arm with mine. She began walking towards the school. "Come, school is waiting." I stood my ground, didn't want to leave. Alex hasn't come yet! "Sorry Ann, go on without me." She looked at me. "I am waiting for someone." I gave her a smile, but she didn't return it. "Is it Alex?" she looked down on the ground, looked guilty. I just nodded. I knew she didn't like him, neither my mom. They don't see how fantastic he is. "Why?" she looked up with sad eyes, disappointed. "He gave me roses yesterday! And he wrote that he loves me on a note!" I sounded exited, tried to make her like him. She looked at me with a look telling me, she doesn't believe that. She let go of my arm and turned her back, walked away from me. I hate when we get like this, but I don't think she is fair. I turned around again, when I saw Alex. He was coming with his friends again. I smiled happy, but I was still sad about the thing with Ann.

Alex P.O.V

Matt and Ben was talking about the girls they met yesterday at the club. I looked at William, who was looking at the school with a half-smile on his face. I looked and saw Tessie standing there, smiling for herself again. She really looks stupid some times, but I love the fact that she adores me so much. I gave her a (fake) smile and waved her over. Just like a dog, she came running. She jumped at me to give me a hug, I almost lost my balance. She snuggled her head in to my chest, while hugging me tightly. I looked over at William, who stood there, hurt and disappointed. I smirked a little bit, while hugging her in return. "Why the big surprise, Sweetheart?" I pulled her out, so I could see her face. She was crying, but still smiled to me, like a blessing. "I love you too!" She said and hugged me again. What is going on in her little head? 'Too'? I laid my arms around her. "What are you talking about?" She pulled herself out of the hug, smiling happy at me. "Thank you for the roses and the note!" I looked confused. "Sweetheart, I didn't give you any roses, or a note?" She looked surprised at first, then sad and disappointed, then confused and curious. She looked up at me, ready to ask me something. "Aren't you jealous?" She looked at me with hope. I smiled at her. "I don't get jealous, people gets jealous at me." I looked at William, who has turned his back to us and continued walking towards the school. I smirked satisfied. When I looked at Tessie again, she looked sad. "But are you not afraid of losing me?" I took my hands back, and laid them at her head. "I know you wouldn't do things like cheating." She looked disappointed, but still happy for the fact that, I didn't think of her like that. We walked into the school together, not holding hands or anything, just beside each other.

Tessie P.O.V

Ann was already sitting in class, ready for the lesson. She saw me coming in, but ignored me with a sad face. I hate this! I walked over to her, but she was really trying to ignore me. "Ann?" After I said that, she jumped at me to give me a hug. "I am SO sorry for before!" she said, almost crying. I laid my hands on her back, making circles at her back. "I am sorry too, I really hate to be like this with you!" She nodded. "Me too." We pulled out from each other, smiling to each other. We began laughing and Ann sat down on her seat, while I stood beside her. "So, did you thank Alex?" I remembered the scene from before. "It was not him that gave me the roses or the note." I looked down with a sad smile. Ann looked at me, both curious and sad for me. "I am sorry to hear that, but who else would it be?" I looked around the class. "I don't know." Over half of the class was here. Ann looked exited at me, almost jumping. "Then let's find out!" She loves this kinds of scenarios. I smiled at her. "I don't know, even if we found out that wouldn't change the fact that I love Alex." I patted her head, she looked disappointed. Then our teacher came and I found my own seat.

Tessie P.O.V

After class was over, Ann pulled me towards the cafeteria. When we came to the cafeteria, she slammed the door open and she find an empty table in the corner. I sat down with her, exhausted. "Why the rush?" I tried to get my breath again. Ann looked around the cafeteria; she was searching for something or someone. "I want to know who sent you the roses and the note!" She didn't stop looking around. I sighed and stood up. She looked up to me, confused. "I am going to get a sandwich, do you want one?" She just nodded and smiled. I smiled back and went over to the cue. As I waited, even I got curious about who sent me the roses and the note. I took a glance around the cafeteria, but I couldn't see a clue. As my eyes got to the table where Alex sat with his friends, I saw William looking over at me. Our eyes meet and I could feel his eyes on me. I looked away, embarrassed and shy. It couldn't be that... could it?

William P.O.V

I saw Tessie stand in the cue to the cafeteria, she was looking around. I was still sad about the misunderstanding from this morning, but how would she know that it was me, who gave her the roses and the note? I blushed a little about the thought, but then she looked at me. It made my heart beat faster; she was finally looking at me. Her eyes was beautiful, just like her and they were looking at me, not Alex. I could see her cheeks get a little pink, she was blushing. She turned her head in embarrassment, she is so cute! I smiled for myself and then felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Alex's. "Dude! Are you looking at my girl?" He said it while laughing. I rolled my eyes, trying to smile, but I was angry. Why wasn't he serious about Tessie? She deserves so much better! "What do you think yourself?" Alex smirked and gave me a friendly punch on my shoulder. "You are very unlucky, dude. She is already mine." I looked away, trying to laugh about it, but it was just a bitter sound.

Tessie P.O.V

After I got the sandwiches, I sat down beside Ann again. She had already stopped looking around. "Thanks, Tes!" She smiled. "No prob." I took a big bite of my sandwich. "Omg Tes! I cannot find any clue to who it could be! I am going crazy!" She took a bite of hers too. Maybe I should tell her about William looking at me? But then she would make a big deal out of it, and I don't want that! William is one of Alex's best friends! But then again, Ann is my best friend! I can't keep a secret from her. "Actually, Ann..." She looked at me. I told her about William looking at me. She seemed surprised, a little sad, but excited. "Omg, Tes! He totally likes you!" I blushed. "No, it was just a coincident! He surely wasn't looking at me, he just happened to look my way at the same time I looked his way!" Ann looked mischievously at me. "So what your saying is that you looked at him?" I blushed and shook my head. "No I did not!" You did!" "I did not!" "Then why did you look at him?" I blushed. "I was just curious about who sent me the roses and the note, so I looked around in the cafeteria." Ann began laughing. "You are so cute when your embarrassed." She smiled at me while I blushed. "Shut up, I am not cute." She looked over at William and Alex. "I'll bet that William thinks that!" I looked down on the table. Ann seemed sad all of a sudden. I looked up at her, when it crossed me. She liked William since a long time ago! But I thought she was over him, but maybe she isn't? I feel like there is a storm on it's way, it is going to give me a big headaches!
