Chapter 6 - Conflict

Tessie P.O.V

When I got home, I locked my door and threw myself in bed. I deleted all the photos I had of Alex on my phone (I took them in secret). He is a jerk! I hated the fact that I was so in love with him in so many years! How could I be so blind!? After talking with Alex, I went directly home. I am so angry and regretful! It is over with love for me!! I hate it!

Next day~~

My mom woke me up and I got ready for school. I decided to forget Alex and never love ever again! As I walked towards school, I saw Mary further ahead of me. I can't stop hating her. I ran up to her and laid my hand on her shoulder, which gave her a fright. When she saw it was me, she got nervous. "Good morning Mary" I tried to sound as cheerful as possible. She looked surprised and confused. "G-good morning?" I took my hand back. "So, what is it going on between you and Alex?" I tried to don't care about it. "W-we are going out now..." she sounded guilty. I smiled happy at her. "That's good for you! You liked him in a long time now, right?" She smiled. "Yeah in half a year, actually" I tried to hold my anger. Half a year? Oh, I loved him in years, but alright then! "I see, but then good luck to the two of you!" I ran further ahead.

As I neared the school, I saw William. He wasn't together with Alex today? Oh well, not that it concern me. I ran past him and into the school.

William P.O.V

As I walked to school, I suddenly saw Tessie running past me. Her brown hair blew in the wind. She is breathtaking. I don't understand Alex, how could he let such a perfect girl go? I would do anything just to make her look my way! But even after being beside her since kindergarten, she had seen me. I feel something in my pocket and take my mobile up. Alex texted me. 'Dude, I meet a sweet girl I think you should meet! She is really hot!' I hate when he does this! He knows that I'm not interested in meeting girls (I only have Tessie in my eyes).

When I got into school, I see Tessie yet again. She stands and look at the bulletin board, where the picture of her and some guy hang the other day. This time there's nothing, but she looks at it, deep in thoughts. I can't help look at her, as she stands there. She suddenly turn her head my way and looks me in the eye. This time she doesn't look away in embarrassment, but keep her eyes on me. My heart beats like crazy! She doesn't smile, but doesn't look sad. She just look at me. then she turns around and walk away. I don't know what happen between Alex and her, except them breaking up. But something defiantly happen! She is not herself.

Tessie P.O.V

I was looking at the empty bulletin board and thought about who it was, that took the picture and put it up. Who would do this? Maybe Mary, because she wanted Alex and me to break up? Or was it someone else? I felt someone staring at me, so turned my head to see William. He looked at me. Did he knew? Did he knew that Alex didn't mean anything towards me? that it all was an act from Alex's side? So he kept it hidden too. Did he feel pity for me, maybe? I can't look at him right know, so I turned around and walked towards class.

I was the first to arrive in the class, so I sat down on my seat. It felt all weird for the classroom to be this quiet. I began humming the melody of one of my favorite songs. As I sat their humming, I looked around. On the board the homework for next week was written. I almost forgot about homework! As I finished my song, I began finding my school tools.

A little time after, the others began to come. Ann came in and looked at me, surprised yet again. "It is really weird to see you up this early!" she says, as she finds the books. "I decided to change myself!" I say confidently. Ann smiles at me, but then looks down her fingers. It hit me that I haven't talked to Ann about anything yet! "Hey Ann, in the break, lets talk!" I say happy. Ann looks happy at me. "Really?" I nod. "That's a promise!" she is really eager to hear it, I see.

Ann and I sat behind the school and ate our lunch today. I wanted to be a place with less people. After we settle down, Ann looks curious at me. "So, spit it out!" she says eager. I smile and began to tell her everything that happen these past days.

When I told her everything, she looks blank at me. "So you are totally done with love?" "Totally!" She looks down. "Do you really want that jerk to be you end?" she says sad. I look up in the sky and smile. "No, but I don't think I am ready to love yet." Ann looks at me. Then she hugs me out of the blue. "No matter what you do or decide, I'll be here!" I hug her back. "I know and me too!" Ann push me back. "But seriously! You have to introduce me to Harry!!" Her eyes are sparkling. "I can't believe you meet him, and even got teased by him!" She shakes me in excitement. "I-I know, right!?" Ann stood up. "I need to go on the toilet, but you can go ahead to the class." She smiles at me and I nod. After she left I began packing our things, but before getting in I hear someone coming closer. On reflex I hide behind the container. I hear footsteps, which stops in front of the container. Great, I'm stuck. "What happen between you and Tessie?" I heard William ask. "Nothing that concern you" I hear Alex answer. It was Alex and William.

William P.O.V

Alex followed me out behind the school, just as I asked him to. I took a deep breath. "What happen between you and Tessie?" I asked. Alex smirked. "Nothing that concern you" he said while smiling. I hate that stupid smile! "You know, it DOES concern me!" I say angrily. Alex still smiles. "And how do it do that?" he is walking closer to me. "Tessie is someone important to me, so I don't want you to hurt her!" Alex looks angry for a short time, but then smiles again. "Someone important?" he ask, confused. I nod and try to not blush. "How can that loser be important to you?" His words makes me so angry, but try to hold my anger back. "She just is!" I shout annoyingly. Alex looks irritated at me. "Dude, there are so many other girls, who would love to be with you! Why chose that ugly loser?" "SHE IS NOT UGLY!" I can't control it, so I break out in anger. Alex looks surprised, then angry. "Dude, seriously!? You deserve so much better than that! Open your eyes man!" I punch the container next to me. "She deserves better than you!" Now I've done it. Alex stand still in some time and then turn around in frustrations. He then hit me so hard he can in the face, which made me fell backwards. Blood came out from my nose. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, DUDE! If you love her that much, then try to take her from me!" Alex stormed back inside. This is a mess. Took my hand up to my nose and wiped with my hand. "Don't touch it" I heard a sweet voice say from behind the container.

Tessie P.O.V

After Alex left, I looked over to see William sitting on the ground with blood, floading out of his nose. I defended me. He wiped his nose with his hand, which is a bad idea. "Don't touch it" He turned his head my way. I hurried over to him and found my handkerchief in my bag. When I looked at him again, he blushed while looking dumbfounded at me. I took the handkerchief up to his nose and gently dipped it. "D-did you hear everything?" I nodded and William blushed even more. Then he looked away. I took and turned the handkerchief and then dipped it again. "Thank you for defending me" at least I could thank him. "No prop" he said quietly. I took the handkerchief and looked at his red nose. "Just wash it and that should be it" He looked at me as I stood up. "Thank you" he said. "Oh, this is nothing after what you did!" I gave him a gentle smile and then waved. "Well, my friend is waiting for me, so..." He waved back and I walked inside again.
