A rock theme begins as Chiyo is shown turning as her black hair waves in the wind. As the music changes, her eyes are zoomed in to show sad looking eyes. "What should I protect?" The title is shown before it fades away to show Chiyo standing with Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kirara. "Without a doubt, there was only one thing: An echoing cry, a sound made in vain within the deep forest." Kagome is shown running over to them and Shippo jumps down to the ground from Sango's Hiraikotsu and smiles up at Kagome. The music changes as Koga is shown with gritted teeth as he growled. "The reason I could hold back my tears, was because of the warmth when our fingers touched!" The music speeds up and Chiyo is shown standing alone as the wind is shown blowing her hair and she held her arms up to stop it. "A future without you is a future without meaning!" Koga is shown jumping over to attack Kagura before Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Shippo also appear and attack at Kagura, Kanna and Naraku. "I'll never let go of you again!" Light flashes and Sesshomaru is shown walking with Rin and Jaken before a woman with duel-colored eyes and black hair flashes like a ghost while she looked to be sleeping before Sesshomaru is shown multiple times wielding one of his three swords. "The world I see with you is a world I've never seen before!" Light flashes and Chiyo is shown either playing with Inuyasha's ears, Shippo's tail or Kirara in general while the others just laughed at Inuyasha getting angry. "We travel across time and space on a distant journey!" Light flashes as Chiyo and Koga are shown back to back as Koga wields metal claws on his right hand while he looked to be growling. The music slows down as the two fade to silhouettes and the title is shown.
Kagome and Chiyo are thrown into a cage and Chiyo turns and glares at the cats. They are locked in the cage.
"Stay in there and don't do anything foolish." The blue haired woman says.
"Let us out!" Kagome yells.
"I can't believe I was captured so easily." Chiyo says, "And why is it always us that gets kidnapped?"
"Again... the last time we were kidnapped it was your boyfriend." Kagome says.
"You're always being kidnapped." Chiyo says.
"Uh, that's beside the point." Kagome says and Chiyo's eyes widen when she senses something behind her.
"Who's in here?!" Chiyo asks.
[Meanwhile]
Inuyasha uses the red blade Tetsusaiga and slices through the barrier with the Wind Scar. He laughs as he managed to pull it off.
"I knew it! It was just a barrier!" Inuyasha says. Koga rushes by.
"That wasn't bad for a mutt like you." Koga says.
"Huh?" Inuyasha asks.
"Koga, wait!" Ginta yells.
"Wait for us!" Hakkaku yells.
"We're here Inuyasha!" Shippo says.
"Took you long enough." Inuyasha says.
"What is that?" Miroku asks.
"The castle entrance. The cats must be hiding somewhere inside it." Inuyasha says.
"If they're around, Chiyo and Kagome must be there, too." Shippo says.
"Yeah. Let's go!" Inuyasha yells and the group rushes away.
[A Few Minutes Later]
"What is this place?" Inuyasha asks.
"It seems like a regular old village." Sango says.
"You know, it is a pretty good sized town around the castle." Miroku says.
"Why here of all places?" Shippo asks, "What's a village doing here?"
"No one seems to be here." Sango says.
"No one's around, but it looks like people live here." Miroku says, "And there's no sign of Koga and his men, either."
"Yeah." Inuyasha says and they get surrounded by cats, "That's where you were hiding!" The cats run away and they give chase after them.
"You certainly are impatient! How rude! Breaking our barrier and busting in like a dick." The red haired girl says.
"Stop yakking and tell me where you're keeping Kagome and my sister!" Inuyasha yells.
"Don't worry, they're safe." The girl says.
"Come on answer me!" Inuyasha yells.
"When the moon is directly overhead, that's when we plan to sacrifice them to our master." The girl says.
"Sacrifice?" Inuyasha yells and then begins growling.
"Naturally you'll be them." The girl says. Inuyasha ends up getting hit with a smokescreen. Suddenly, the area is exploded and Sesshomaru shows up. Sesshomaru tells Inuyasha to leave.
"Chiyo and Kagome have been captured by those demon cats!" Inuyasha yells.
"You let Chiyo get captured?!" Sesshomaru yells angrily.
"Hmm? What the hell?" Inuyasha asks. Sesshomaru walks away.
"Was that... Sesshomaru actually sounding worried for Chiyo?" Sango asks.
"Only because Chiyo looks the most like father according to Sesshomaru." Inuyasha says.
[Later]
Koga searches for Chiyo. Ginta and Hakkaku suggest working with Inuyasha to save Chiyo and they are approached by a demon named Royokan.
"You must be Koga of the demon wolf tribe." Royokan says.
"Whoever he is doesn't smell like a cat." Koga says and turns to look, "You're Royokan."
"You mean, the demon who's the keeper of the forest?" Ginta asks.
"The demon from hell that gobbles up anyone who happens to get lost?" Hakkaku asks.
"What are you doing here and what do you want?" Koga asks.
"That's what I'd like to ask you." Royokan says.
"You're not accompanying Lord Sesshomaru, are you?" Royokan asks.
"Sesshomaru? Who the hell's that?" Koga asks.
"You don't now?" Royokan asks.
"No." Koga says, "I'm here trying to save my woman."
"Your woman?" Royokan asks. They learn the story from Royokan about the previous war. Koga bursts out of a demonic aura and he discovers one of the cats. He rushes to attack her while she laughs. She transforms into flowers before escaping.
"The only thing I can smell now is flowers."
[Meanwhile]
Miroku and Sango get captured and thrown into the cell with Chiyo and Kagome. Kagome rushes over to make sure they are okay while Chiyo remains sitting with a bored expression on her face. Kagome and Chiyo explain about the villagers and Kagome and Chiyo explain that Inuyasha and Koga are both coming to help.
"I wouldn't count on Sesshomaru thought." Miroku says.
"Huh? What? Why is he here?" Kagome asks.
"He's here fighting the panther demon tribe." Sango says.
"I mean, it makes sense." Chiyo says.
"Why is he fighting the panther demon tribe?" Kagome asks.
[Meanwhile]
Outside, Sesshomaru faces the red haired girl, Inuyasha andJaken faced the flower panther girl while Koga, his wolves and Royokan werefacing the male panther demon.
