Information: A schoolclass, including Andy and Jack, Rye, Brooklyn and Mikey are going on a trip to Paris. There is a lot more that happens than originally planned.
Warning: underage drinking (don't do it bois)
Rye's POV:
He swiftly gets up, lingering onto my hands for as long as possible, before his hands are not longer around mine, but rather along with him in the bathroom. Within seconds, he is back in front of me, crouched down to meet my eye level, with a glass of water in his hands.
'Here, drink this. It'll cool you down.'
I thankfully take the glass from his hands, taking big gulps, the cold liquid relieving my hot stomach, and flushing away the anxious knot.
In a few seconds, it's all gone, and I wipe my mouth, wiping away the access. Andy chuckles.
'Thirsty?'
I just nod, and smile at him.
He puts his hand on my shoulder, which sends a cool chill through my body from that area, making me shudder. Andy doesn't notice. He looks at me before speaking up.
'The best thing for you right now is some rest. I know it is scary, but I know from experience that a little bit of rest will help you tackle things like this much easier, as much of a contradiction as that may sound. As soon as you feel anxious again, you wake me, okay, and I will help you through it.'
It is not even up for debate, he is absolutely determined to help me.
He helps me stand up, making sure I am steady before taking his hands off my arms.
He now has to look up at me, which makes the whole authorative-role thing a little bit ironic. 'You will sleep in the bed tonight, so you will be getting as much rest as you can.' Andy says, determined.
'Andy, you've honestly done enough for me tonight.'
Andy says nothing, but just looks up to me with a slight smile on his face, signifying that there is no way he is going to let me sleep on an airmatress tonight.
I nod, not being in the mood to contradict him now. Andy guides me towards his bed, folding the blankets over me, as soon as I have crawled into it. He bows down, and wipes my hair out of my face, before moving away.
'Sweet dreams, Rye.' He quietly says, as he gets onto the airmatress.
My body can't stop tingling. As soon as Andy put me to bed, I noticed my whole body recognizing his presence. His soft hands on my arms, steadying me. And then on my own, calming me down. I can't help but imagine my hands touching him. My hands on his arms, in times he needs me. Me playing with his fingers while our hands are intertwined. My fingertips on his lower back, as he embraces me in a hug, his head resting in the crook of my neck.
I turn to my back, staring to the sealing, not being able to close my eyes with the amount of thoughts floating around my head. At the end of my feet, I hear Andy breathing, steadily.
Andy's POV:
I am laid on my side on the airmatress as I recall all of the events of the evening. Thank god I knew what to do. I used to get panic attacks, and so I could implement my techniques on Rye.
And my god, how much I hated seeing him upset. It almost brings tears to my eyes as I think about the things he has had to go through on his own.
