Chapter 26

~3 years later~

~Dally's POV~

Cassie was 7 months pregnant with our daughter and Jr. was really excited about having a sister.

I was nervous about having a daughter because it was hard enough having a son.

Cassie and I decided to drop Jr. off at the Curtis' because we wanted time alone.

After we dropped him off we went for a walk and I saw my father who I hated.

He walked over to us and I got protective.

I put my arm around Cassie's waist and I laid my hand on her stomach.

"Well well if it isn't my failure son Dallas" he said I growled and said "what do you want"

"I just wanted to see what slut you were with this time"

I felt Cassie tense up when he called her that

"she isn't a slut"

"yeah sure all the women your with are sluts"

I let go of her and got closer to him "if you call her a fucking slut one more time your going to be part of the fucking ground"

"yeah right"

"would you like to try me"

"yeah bring it on"

I walked over to Cassie and said "get out of here you don't need to see this I'll be home later"

"ok but please be careful because I don't need you in jail right now while I'm 7 months pregnant"

"I won't end up in jail but if I do I'll just have Darry bail me out"

"ok I love you"

"I love you too" then I kissed her and she walked off.

~Cassie's POV~

I started walking to the Curtis' and as I was walking I felt like someone was following me.

I was afraid to turn around and look.

Then someone grabbed me from behind and said "hello sis"

"Twobit you idiot you scared the crap out of me"

"sorry sis"

"it's fine"

"where's Dally why isn't he with you"

"he's fighting his dad because he called me a slut"

"oh."

Me and Twobit walked to the Curtis' house together and when we got there Steve said "hey look its Twobit and his identical twin sister"

I walked over to him and grabbed his shirt collar and said "Steve I might be pregnant but I can still beat your" I let go of him and covered Jrs. ears "beat your ass"

I uncovered them and Steve said "ok I'm sorry I called you his identical twin"

"good you should be."

I then got Jr. and went home.

As we were walking home I saw someone walking toward us so I picked up Jr. and held him close to me.

I then noticed it was Dally and I felt a wave of relief rush threw me.

He walked over to us and hugged us.

We all went home and Dally put Jr. to bed while I was getting dressed for bed.
