Edited Version. As you can see, I'm unpublishing and republishing this ff. Enjoy~
Here's where it all began...
Every day in my life, when I wake up and fall back to sleep, there has been rain. I don't know what the sun looks like 'cause I never saw it. Kids have been making fun of me, and it hurts.
"Get away from her; she'll make the sun disappear."
"Ugh, why is it so wet outside?"
"Ew, look. It's her, the Rain Girl."
"Let's keep moving. Don't want to run into her."
At one point, I decided to sew white cloth stuffed with a cotton ball. Teru teru bōzu dolls. It's cute and it makes me smile. But... it's like a good luck charm that never worked. I thought they would stop the rain, but no, it didn't.
"Oh? What's this?" A classmate snatched the doll from my hands.
"N-None of your business!!" I cried, attempting to take back what's mine.
"Or what?" He laughed. "What are you going to do about it, Ms. Rain?"
"Give it back, you bonehead!!" I yelled, reaching for it once again, but he pulled it away from my grasp.
"Nope! Haha, it's soo ugly.." He smirked and walked outside. I see a frown forming across his face. He threw the doll on the floor, mud seeping through the cloth.
I sniffed an wiped my eyes, sewing more cottons balls into cloth until I can no longer face the fact that I'll never see the sun. As many times I made a doll, the amount of bullies had increased. I finally gave up and accepted my title as the "Rain Woman."
People still insulted me. Well, the rain. Everywhere I go, I bring rain with me. It's like a part of my life. I can hear people whisper about how gloomy the rain is as I passed by.
"Ugh, this rain is soo gloomy." Bora, my first love said while we were out on a date. I kept quiet. "I can't go anywhere with you 'cause it's raining."
Later that day, I walked home crying 'cause I got dumped. I ripped soo many picture that night. The next day, I see Bora with another girl. It make my blood boil, seeing him moving on from me that fast. It makes me mad that I'm still in love with the man who broke my heart.
The rain pours down harder as I hide and watch them in secret.
"Geez, why is the rain soo gloomy?" The girl wandered.
"Who knows?" He shrugged, but in reality, he knows the reason why.
I've avoided guys and making friends for a very long time. At one point, I found this guild known as Phantom Lord. They weren't as bad as the rumors I've heard about. This was the place were I met a friend who is like my hero today.
I was getting kidnapped by some people... I thought I could handle them, but then a guy with black spiky hair came and saved me. He had metal piercings all over his face.
"Are you okay?" He asked. He was from Phantom Lord, like me.
"Yeah.. but... you didn't have to save Juvia." I mumbled.
"It's not like I can watch them go and rape you." He scratched his head. "Can I be your friend?" That question angered me.
"Um, no. Juvia doesn't have or need any friends." I rejected and looked away.
"Well, okay. If you don't want me as a friend, that's fine." He said as he walked away. I kind of regret saying that I don't need a friend, but I actually do. Whenever I get into trouble, I stay quiet and let the pursuer have their way with me. But no, Gajeel comes and saves me.
At one point, when I was almost killed, I cried in his arms, finally accepting him as a friend and hero as he carried me home and treated my wounds.
Right now, I'm at a local park, sitting down on a bench (which is my usual spot) and look up, admiring the autumn trees. Even though it's raining, they still look beautiful.
A few people walk passed me. Sometimes, I wave hello and we make a light conversation. I'm glad they're being nice to me. If they knew that I'm the cause of the rain, things wouldn't be... as pleasant as it is now.
At one point, I saw a group of people, standing in the rain as I sat and observed them. A salmon haired guys with a scarf wrapped around his neck, telling jokes to the blonde haired girl. His hands messes with her hair, and she slapped then away, both of them laughing with each other. A crimson haired woman was whispering to the man with dark hair. They seemed to smile and catch up with the other two. A blue cat with wings flew circles around the salmon haired guy.
I've seen these guys come to the park for a while now. They all laugh and joke around with each other... I felt tears falling down my cheeks. What the hell..? I wiped my eyes with my sleeve and crack a smile.
For a split second, I felt his eyes on me..
Stupid 99.3 test.. Where's my 0.7?
