I saw him looking at me. I felt as if time stopped when we looked at each other. He turned to his friends, saying something to them and not removing his gaze from mine. They nodded and left him. Is this fate?

As soon as I felt time going back to the same pace, I didn't see the rain. It... Stopped?

"Hello." I heard a voice beside me and turned. Okay, whoa. When did he get here. "I'm Gray. Gray Fullbuster."

"Um, hi." I started. "I'm Juvia. Juvia Lockser. N-Nice to meet you.."

"Juvia, is it? Are you free tonight?" He asked. I simply nodded. "I can take you out to dinner tonight. To, you know, get to know you better as friends. My treat."

"Sure. Juvia would love to!!" I gave him a smile, my best smile.

"Okay, great. Meet up here around eight?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

The two of us chatted for a little bit, since it was still pretty early in the afternoon. Gray glanced down at his watch.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I need to go back." He said as he stood up and bowed.

"See you later, Juvia!" He waves at me and walks off. He's kind of handsome... I thought. Wait... what the hell am I doing?! I should go back and get ready myself!!

"What should I wear..?" I dug inside my closet to find something decent to wear.

I push the dresses, t-shirts, and jeans away. Something not too fancy, but not too casual. Think...

I pull out a blackish-navy blue miniskirt and place it on the bed. Bottom, check. Now I need a top that matches. I look around in my closet again until I saw something that caught my eye. It was a cute electric-blue sweater with the words "Shin Shin To" in the front and ">w<" on the back. That's such a cute face. Where did I buy this sweater from again..? (Look in media for picture.)

I changed into the miniskirt and sweater and admire myself in the mirror. I look nice, but I know I'm missing something. I went through my drawer and grabbed a pair of high-knee socks. I slipped on some black flats and stepped out into the guild. There were a lot of heads turning towards me, but I only want to talk to my friend.

"Hey Gajeel." I said cheerfully. "How does Juvia look?"

"Well.. um..." He stammers, trying to find the right words. I giggled at him. "You look really nice. Are you going somewhere..?"

"Yup!! Juvia met someone today~" I beamed.

"Oh?" He raised a brow. I nodded. "Tell me if he hurts you. I'll give him a piece of me."

"Um..." I mumbled. "Juvia doesn't think that's necessary... But I have a question."

Gajeel has his attention on me. He gestured for me to continue. "So I was thinking.. Is it weird to talk in third person..? Should Juvia switch to first..?"

He thought for a bit. "Well.." He came to a conclusion. "I think people get annoyed easily when someone speaks in third person. Go with first person, just to be safe alright?"

Gajeel patted my shoulder as I nod. "Okay thanks!! I'm off!!"

I walked to the park once again. Will he actually be there..? This.. better not be a prank. I arrived a few minutes early and sat down at my usual bench. A few minutes later, a familiar looking man sat down in the seat next to mine.

"Hey. Ready to go?" He faced me and extended his hand out.

"Yup!!" I smiled as I took his hand. We talked a bit as he took me to a pretty decent place. I don't know what to think anymore; he's really nice, pretty handsome, and cool. Literally. We walk inside as a waiter comes for us.

"Hello. Table for two?" He asks.

"Yes sir. Thank you." He says. Oh my gosh, he has manners as well!!

The waiter guides us to an empty table. Gray pulled out a chair for me. I thank him and sat down and he slide it under the table and sits in front of me.

"So, how are you today, Miss Lockser?" He starts the conversation.

"I'm doing well, thank you. You can call me Juvia instead of my last name." I blushed as a waitress appeared.

"Hello. What would you like today?" She asks, handing us the menu. Gray and I look over it, deciding on what to order.

"I would like an ice waffle. What about you, Juvia?" He looks over at me.

"I'd like the same thing please." I said. She bowed at us and walks away with our orders.

"So what guild are you in?" Gray asks, resuming to our conversation.

"I'm in Phantom Lord, but I'm thinking about quitting." I sighed.

"Oh? And why's that?"

"Reasons. But don't worry, they're still pretty nice."

Gray nodded. Now, it's my turn. "What about you? What guild are you in?"

The waitress brought us our ice waffles. We slapped our hands together and prayed for the food, being thankful, and then smiled at each other.

I've learned a few things about Gray, and the same thing with him about me. He's in Fairy Tail, that disastrous and incredible guild I've heard about. He fights with his teammate, Natsu? all the time. His favorite color is either blue or black. His magic is ice-making.

"Um, wait here." Gray said as he went somewhere. We finished eating thirty-minutes ago. Now? We're just take a stroll around this area.

"I'm back." He said as I felt someone being placed on my head. I took it off and realized it was an electric-blue beanie-like hat with a yellow butterfly on its side.

"Hm.. There. You look soo cute!!" He smirked. My face flushed as I thank him.

"So I was wandering.." Gray started. "Why don't you come and join Fairy Tail? We aren't like those rumors you've heard of."

"I don't know.. Can I join..?" I asked nervously.

"Do you want to? I mean I want you to, but do you?" He asked, a smile creeping his face.

"Yes. I want to join!!" I concluded. He brought me into a hug. "But I'm bringing someone along."

"Thank you!! And yeah, that's okay. The more the merrier." He beamed. I giggled at his cuteness as he pulled away.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye. For now."

"See you soon, Gray Fullbuster." I waved.

"I'll be waiting, Juvia Lockser."
