"I wanna go in." Connor begged. "Just wait until you hear sirens, or see them." He sighed, and it wasn't 5 seconds after he sighed when we saw sirens coming down the road. "Go!" Connor yelled, and the police cars pulled over. Connor bust in first, then I follow. The Police run in behind us. "Hands up!" They yelled. Everyone put their hands up except for Gaby, they had tied her hands to the back of the chair. "Go untie the girl." One Cop stated. I nodded, and go untie Gaby. Connor goes over to the corner and pulls three chairs up, motioning for the other people to sit down. Gaby goes outside for a while, so I follow. "Don't worry Gaby," I said. "They'll take care of it." She nods, and sits on the ground.
As the three people sit down, Connor leans against a table, one Cop in a corner, and one in front of them questioning them. "So...explain whats going on." He pointed to the black man. "He will have his turn, then the girl, then the woman." The black man nods. "Whats your name?" "Jacob." He said. "Well Jacob, explain what was going on, and no body interrupt!" Everyone nodded. The Cop leaned on the the table, nodding for Jacob to talk.
"Well, my girlfriend here, one with the blond hair(Ava), is jealous of Gaby-" He was interrupted by Ava, "shut up!" She yelled. "No, because I will not get caught in a lie!" She gave him a very mad look. "Anyway," He said. "Why is she jealous? You may ask. Well, Gaby's dad was dating Ava. Ava was always jealous of Gaby, because the father loved Gaby more. Its honestly common sense, a father will love their daughter, and will protect them."
Connor stands up straight. "Are you two hiding anything? Not the "fake", Ava and Jacob." "N-no..." "Lies!" Connor pulls out an envelope. "I found this, in the driveway. Its covered in mud, but lets open it." Connor runs outside to get Gaby. "Come on Katie." He smiles weakly at me, and I go inside. We all stand in front of the three...criminals you may say. Connor hands the envelope to Gaby. "Here, open it." Gaby carefully opens it, inside she finds money...and a note.
Gaby is almost crying...and we still wait for here to pull out the note and read it.
