It has been a day since or two since Dave came and stayed with me. It kind of made feel good but it kind of started feeling weird too. I would catch Dave looking at me sometimes, sometimes he would brush his fingers or like try to touch me while we were conversing and made it look like it was natural. He also used to push Olivia away. He used to remind her again of her luna duties and remind her to leave. My gut felt weird while being alone with him like I felt like something was off. He would talk a lot about how scary and cruel Alexander is and I was fragile I was and he wasn't made for me. He even suggested me to reject him which made me just uncomfortable and I would change the topic. 

It was afternoon by now. It was just me and Dave alone in the cabin. Olivia came in the morning and left before lunch. We both just finished lunch and Dave was busy reading book and I was just looking out from the window not being able to control my thoughts about Alexander. The constant thoughts about how bad I treated him would pop up and I felt pathetic. Guilt was running in my veins since the day he came to the cabin. I just couldn't control anymore and broke down on my knees crying. 

Dave noticed me and came running from across the room. "Emma are you alright ?" he questioned and I just shook my head to no not being able to control anymore. 

"Dave I treated him so bad. Despite all he did was only good. Why did I only believe what people told me ?" I said through my tears and the last sentence more to myself. My whole body shattering from the guilt in my blood.

Dave picked me up and sat me on the couch. "That's because what people told you is true. This all just some sick game of his and I know he just pretending to be good " I almost couldn't believe what he said for a second and I stared at him in disbelief.

That's when he cupped my face and said "You know who's going to treat you right I'm Emma. I'm gonna treat you like the precious stone that you are and never let you cry " I froze and leaned away from him and tried to process what was happening.

"Emma I love you I always did since 6th grade Emma I just didn't have the guts to tell you" he said and he leaned into my comfort zone and tried kissing me and I shifted my face in other direction. 

"Dave I just think you should leave" I said and got up from the couch.

Walking towards me he said "But Emma I love you trust me I could treat you so much better and even satisfy your ne......" .

"Dave i just think you need to fucking leave" I yelled but he keep walking towards me telling me that he would love me and I just cringed and again He tried to kiss me. I didn't know what was happening next because everything happened so fast. I cringed so hard this time that I slapped him. "Just fucking leave Dave" I yelled frustratingly. 

Something triggered him when I slapped him and I saw he lunged at me and I my back was to the floor now. He was on top of me and he started tearing my top.

"Dave don't do this" I said and felt tears spill out of my eyes. I tried kicking him punching him but nothing worked but earned me a tight slap on my face. 

"You're mine you belong with me you bitch" He said 

He wasn't just the Dave I knew, he now was a psychopath who was trying to rape me.

I tried kicking and punching him again and he went a back a little with previous punch i shot at him and that's when I pushed him hard and went to run but that asshole was way too fast and got hold of my hair and tore my top by grabbing it from behind. I took a vase and hit him hard on his head. 

"I don't belong to anybody but my self mother*ucker" I said yelling with tears still spilling out of my eyes.

I ran out of the cabin and saw Alexander. We just stared at each other for a minute until I ran and jumped into his arms and started crying loudly. My head was pressed against his chest.

"EMMA TALK TO ME WHAT HAPPENED" He asked me cautiously while looking around for a threat.

That was when I heard Dave walk out of the cabin.

"He tried to rape me" I said between the sobs but in a whisper.

The next second went by quickly and it all happened so fast. Alexander had let go of me and ran to where Dave was. He grabbed Dave and started punching him up to a point where blood was coming out of Dave's mouth. Alexander then snapped his neck and Dave's lifeless body fell on the floor.

I suddenly felt so weak by everything that was happening and fell to my knees sobbing. 

"Your death was written on my hands the moment you tried to rape a person whether my mate or not" He said with rage clear in his tone.

He then walked upto me and picked me up and placed me up in his arms with me still silently sobbing.
