14. Runaway Luna

I woke up smiling and arms wrapped around me and table clock reading 4:30. The events from last night flashing in front of my eyes and I panicked. I was never supposed to fall for him. Am I falling for him? I questioned myself and the answer was pretty clear. I cannot do this I cannot fall for him. I just can't take it I've to leave this place.

"EMMA YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE PEOPLE DON'T DO THIS EMMA PLEASE. ALEXANDER WILL GO CRAZY" angela tried to convince me and I blocked her.

I slowly took the pillow from the back of my neck and replaced myself with a pillow. I got up quickly changed into jogging clothes. They are the most comfortable clothes to run in.

I was about to walkout when I took a look at Alexander and couldn't control myself and gave him a peck on his lips. And walked out of room taking a look at the watch, an hour till Alexander wakes up. 

I know he will find me and I can't runaway from him but I also can't stay hear it's just overwhelming over here.

I ran in my human form till the border and decided that I would shift after I cross the border as the border guards don't know my wolf.

I saw the guards and ordered them to open the gates.

"Luna we can't let you go like that" One of the guard said.

"Are you disobeying my orders?" I said giving them an angry glare.

"No luna we didn't mean to....." I cut them of

"Open the gates" I ordered and they opened the gates immediately and I ran out of the border and checked the time. 45 mins till Alexander gets up I gotta hurry up I thought to myself.

5 mins away from the packland and I changed into my wolf form with my clothes and my phone in my mouth.

I  ran for 30 mins and finally reached the inside the pack as I was the daughter of an Alpha and I knew all the shortcuts and hidden emergency spots to sneak into the land.

I reached a small shelter near the border which was my, olivias and Dave's hangout place since childhood. Dave, me and olivia were bestfriends since we were children. But Dave had to shift to Iceland due to his studies and decided to settle down there.

 I changed into my clothes. I immediately called Olivia and told her that I was here and she started crying on the phone. I told her to come at the shelter and she said she'll be here in 10 mins.

Somebody knocked on the door and I peaked from the window next to the door and saw it was Olivia. I opened the door. Olivia gave me tight hug and we both started crying. 

"Emma what are you doing here? do your parents know that you know you are here? and where is your mate?" She started bombarding me with questions.

"I ran away from my mate" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Did he do anything to you Emma did he abuse you or sexually assaulted you?" She asked while checking for any marks on my body.

"No He did not do anything like that" I said with tears still running down my eyes.

"Then why did you ran away from him?" she asked not understanding the situation.

"Olivia he is a beast he kills people for no reason I cannot be with such man and I just needed a little time to think about our relationship" I said.

"But emma did he ever treat you wrong? " she asked 

"No" I said looking down guiltily.

"So how can you judge him based on those stupid rumors that some jobless people make. And talking about killing people he is an Alpha he has to protect his pack. If your mom rejected your dad for killing people then they wouldn't have been such a lovely couple today" Olivia said.

"I just need a little time away from him to think. Olivia can you ask that witch from the pack to make my scent disappear and hide it from further. 

"Ok and think a little that guy deserves a chance he is probably the nicest mate you could have" She said

"And please don't tell my parents I'm here they will send me back to him" I said to her.

"Ok But just think about him" she said while leaving to go to the witch.

I made a coffee as this house was always stocked up with goods as this house was like a get away for me and olivia from the pack house and the pack.

I still couldn't stop thinking about Alexander. Maybe I was feeling guilty because I knew I was wrong. I was even starting to feel a little sick. I unblocked angela back when I reached the shelter and she still hasn't spoke a word to me since then. Maybe I'm a really bad mate. 

I heard a knock on the door and wondered how was olivia here so fast. Maybe I was lost in my own thoughts I thought to myself.

I finished the coffee and kept it on the table. I opened the door and saw my mate and I got goosebumps just by looking at him.
