"We should go." Eira sat behind me and played with my hair.
"I'd love to, but I don't know what's there. Maybe I should tell Chief Hiccup... At least if we encountered some new species or village, he'd know how to handle it." My fingers twiddled in my lap.
"That could work, but don't tell anyone else. They'll all want to go with."
"Yeah, earlier I was going to tell my parents, but I realized that." I laughed a little.
"So would you bring all of us?" She referred to the other friends.
"I might go by myself at first, just to see what we might deal with, but I won't stay too long. Just a quick look." After Eira finishes a new braid, I turn to face her.
"Well alright. That'd be cool if we got to see a new species." A bright smile appeared on her face. I smiled back and nodded.
"At least you'll get there quickly, you're so lucky you have another Night Fury!" She sighed and leaned over slightly.
"Aha, yeah. And now Toothless has got a friend." I laughed again.

Dusk again. Instead of sitting on my roof, I headed straight outside.
"Alright, I guess I'm going." I started walking over to the stables to find Caesar.
I walked inside quietly and made my way to his room. I rubbed his massive head and his ears. He sat up slightly and looked at me with an irritated expression.
"C'mon boy, we're going flying." I whispered and look into his eyes. He stood slowly and followed me outside. It was a little chilly, and everything was covered in dew. The orange sun shined across the village, giving it beautiful lighting.
"Alright, I'll grab your stuff and we'll head out." I ran to the storage in our house and Caesar trotted slowly behind me. I strapped his saddle onto him and hopped on.
"Ready, boy?" I patted his neck kindly and we walked over near the edge of the cliff, then took off. I'm glad I grabbed my coat, as it's even colder up here. He soars smoothly and I tap his side with my foot.
"Let's go a little faster, bud." His wings start flapping much faster and I lean forward. The wind throws us off slightly, and Caesar swerves back and forth. I gesture to go down towards the water, since the smell of the ocean is amazing in the morning.
I look ahead and notice a Tide Glider, flying by itself. My jaw drops slightly at the sight of it, this is a rare Tidal class dragon. I've only heard stories about them. Then nearby are a few Seashockers leaping from the water, which are rather common.
"Oh, there's the island." I point for Caesar, and we turn slightly. This ride seems a lot shorter than the first did. I look up, the skies look clear. Everything is going as planned.
"There's a lot of trees, maybe we'll see a Timberjack or two." I observe to myself as we near the island. Caesar finds a high cliff and we land gently into the grass. Very dense, tropical forests... I guess there won't be Timberjacks. I hop off Caesar's back to take a quick look, and he starts looking around anxiously.
"Caesar? You okay, boy?" I reach over to pet him, but he rushes off the cliff to a forest below.
"Caesar! Wait, we can't be here for long!" I call and run over, but stop myself before falling. I hear roaring similar to Caesar's, so I assume he's met something else. I begin to worry.
"Please be safe, Caesar..." I sigh and back up slightly. I hear flapping and a sudden thud, then I look behind myself. All I see is the silhouette of what I assume is a dragon. It does have wings, after all... Two white orbs glare at me from the shadow. I hear a growl and suddenly I'm shoved onto the ground. The dragon stands above me, glaring still with its pure white eyes. It's a Night Fury.
I struggle to get out of the beast's grip, but it holds both of my arms down with its powerful legs. I look up and notice another figure atop the dragon.
"Who are you?! What do you want?!" I yell at the stranger. They hop off the dragon and signal it to back away. I sit up quickly and back myself against a tree trunk. The person slowly paces towards me and points a knife at my throat. I panic to myself, but quietly.
"Please don't, I don't want ANY trouble!" I shake my head and examine the rider's mask. He replies softly in a mysterious tone.
"Why are you here..?" By now I can tell this person is a male. His Fury stands behind him, glaring at me.
"I just saw the island, I- please let me go, I'll leave!"
He stands and moves over to his dragon again.
"Get going, now." He looks back at me.
"My dragon, he-" I stop and stare at the man. Both of his hands are held out and are gently touching Caesar's head. He backs out from the shadows with Caesar following, almost as if he were in a trance. The stranger lowered his hand and Caesar dropped to the ground.
"Wh-what are you doing?" I step a bit closer. He doesn't respond, just continues to observe my dragon. Caesar stands once more and the man gently itches under his chin.
"Your dragon is beautiful." He utters in a calm tone.
"Thank you.. So is yours." I scan over to the Fury with the vibrant red markings.
"Well here he is, now go."
"What is your name?"
"We won't be seeing each other again." He hops onto his dragon and they both fly away. I sigh once and climb onto Caesar's back.
"Let's get home." My hand strokes his forehead gently, and we lift off the cliff gracefully. I lay on Caesar's back and look up. How come he has a Night Fury? Are there others on the island? Any other dragons? Who is he, anyway? Billions of questions were flooding my head and I gently petted Caesar's wing.
"So where did you go off to?" I asked rhetorically. He twitched his head and hissed playfully. The wind was whacking my hair all over the place. That is, the hair that wasn't in a braid. I couldn't even feel the cold wind, I was too focused on so many other things.
"Caes, did you find anything, or... anyone?" I sat up and rubbed his head. Who am I kidding, I'm not going to be able to tell if he says yes or not. He made some sort of head gesture, but how am I to tell what it means? I sighed and leaned back again and rested. It was silent for the rest of the flight.

We arrived home and Caesar skipped over to his friend Jabberwocky, who is a Grapple Grounder owned by Katrine. Those two are pretty good friends, and sometimes Ares joins them to play, and Ares is a Monstrous Nightmare owned by Sigrún. Eira, Sirgún, and Katrine were all sitting together. Eira's Sand Wraith, Apophis, was resting next to her. I sat down neatly and looked around.
"Were you at the island?"
"Did you see anything?!"
"Were there any new dragons or people?"
They all bombarded me with various questions.
"I could only stay for a short time. I was kicked out. It was full of luscious rainforests, oh it's so beautiful... Some guy was there, though. He has a Night Fury, like me. Except his has strange red markings all over its body, and its eyes were pure white at first."
