Withered Hope

Chapter 2

Today is a really long day. Because one, Xander sit behind me. Two, he's keep on bugging me by kicking on my chair, of course I ignored him. Three, I have history subject, my least favourite subject. Four, I'm hungry.

Finally my favourite sound ever, the bell, is ringing. I quickly shove my thing into my bag. When I'm about to exit the class someone grab my hand.

"Wait!" Ugh it's Xander. Can he just leave me alone?

"What do you want mister Goldrake?" I ask him without turning back.

"Can I borrow your history book? I don't have the note from last month." He's been borrowing my notes from last month, so yeah I'm already getting used to it even though it's just 2 days.

"Please?" I said turning my head and smile.

"Ugh... Okay, please?" It's funny seeing his face when he's annoyed.

I smile widely and gave him my note. I win. Again.

I was doing my homework that night when my phone buzz beside me.

Heeeyyyyy... Whatcha doin'?

It's a fucking 10 pm Frey. Don't you have better thing to do?

Nooope~ there's nothing to do here... I'm booooreeed... Help... I wanna go to school...

Sleep then.

Ruuude~ How's Sam btw?

She's not feeling well. It's been 2 days since I saw you both. You guys are bad friend, how could you leave me alone like this?

Ow... I'm sorry honeybee...
I'll buy you lunch when I'm back. Promise ;)

You know what? This Xander guy keep on bugging me even though I always ignored him. I NEED PROTECTION!!!

OH.MY.GOODNESS! Reine! Is it Xander Goldrake? I need an explanation. This instant!

Why do you even care about him? Is he some celebrity or what?

He's not a celebrity Reine, he's just someone popular who's been away for 3 months for who-knows-what reason. Of course everyone excited to see him again. Even when he's not a celebrity outside, but he's a celebrity in our school. Got that? Oh Reine... You lucky little bee :(

So is he the one that being crowded at the corridor? And yeah I'm soooo lucky to have someone resemble a Greek god sit behind me. Not to mention the kicking on my chair and the mocking he gave me. Note the sarcasm.

But hey, you said who-knows-what reason he's away from school for that long. Does that mean no one really know what his reason?

Yes he is! And yeah no one know his reason. Even the teacher don't know. Some people say it's a family thing.
