"Come on," Tobias called to me as I ran after him
"Where are we going?" I giggle as I run through the corridors
"I don't know!" Tobias laughed, "Somewhere new!" He pulls me through a narrow doorway into a small cupboard full of knives. He pulled one of the shelves, about 20cms long and he swung it around in his hand nearly hitting me as he does.
"Crap" I scream, ducking out of the closet, "You could have taken my arm off." I rub my arm protectively.
"I would never, ever hurt you." He rubs my arm and my breath catches.
"Lets put this back," I say. I place my hand on his and guide it to place the knife back on the shelf. I look up at him as he takes my hand in his. He looks down at me and I look away. I feel the intensity of his eyes looking at me and I quickly pull my hand away, rubbing the sweat off on my jeans.
I pull him out and we carry on walking down the corridor exploring all the little cupboards full of knives, guns and test dummies.
"Looks like you didn't choose a very exciting corridor to come down Captain." I grin at Tobias.
"So you choose," He grins down a me and I smile back up at him. I grab his hand and pull him behind me down the corridor back to the main centre. "That way," I point down a corridor to our right and continue to pull him through the crowd.
The corridor we venture down next is marked 'Recreational'. "This one sounds fun," I laugh
"Good choice, I might have to promote you to First Mate!" Tobias jokes as he continues down the hall beside me.
"Consider it done," I salute as we open the first door marked Tennis. Inside we find about 5 tennis courts with piles of rackets and tennis balls in the corners.
"Do you play?" He grins as he passes me a racket
"No I don't" I take the racket and stand nervously bouncing on the spot as Tobias runs over to the other side of the court and sets up a machine thing and loads up 50 balls into the machine.
"I'll teach you" He throws his racket on the floor and stands behind me wrapping his arms around me and placing his hands over mine on the racket." You just need to swing the racket back like this and hit the ball when comes at you." He pulls my hands back and swings them forward.
I turn my head to look around at him at his face is inches from mine. I breathe quicker and my heart races as I look into his eyes I start to lose myself.
"I'm going to turn on the machine now and we'll see ok" He pulls away and runs to the machine.
I try to catch my breath as the first ball fires towards me. I carefully swing my racket back and thwack the ball across the court. Tobias hits it back at I start to flounder. I struggle to reach the ball and it doesn't reach quite far enough. It hits into the net and I fall to the floor. Tobias runs to me and flops down beside me.
"You okay?" He asks, "That was really good," He praised as I looked back up at him.
"You sure? I mean I missed,"
"Well yeah but it was still good" He laughed, "Do you want to try again?"
"Is it Ok if we try again another day?" I ask, "I'm tired"
"Sure no worries," Tobias jumps up and puts our rackets back in the corner.
"Can we go one last place?" I ask as he runs back to me
"Yeah, no problem, where?"
"I don't know but I'll know when I see it." I pull him out of the Tennis room and we continue down the corridor. I check all the signs on the doors but nothing appeals to me until I pull Tobias through one door
"Wait where are we going," Tobias asks,
"You'll find out," I pull him through the door and up the stairs beyond it.
