"I've found him" I laugh and Tobias shuffles in closer to me to see my iPad.
"Marcus Evesham, 112, 35th street New York" I squeal pointing to the screen as I read from the census record.
"Are you sure it's him?" Tobias asks. "How do you know It's him"
I scroll down the page and point to the photo on the screen.
"That's definitely him" Tobias grins and pulls me into a hug and I breathe in his scent and savour all I can of him.
"Look at the eyes" I gesture to the sharp harsh green in his eyes.
"Have you found yours yet?" I ask him. "Actually who is yours?"
Tobias looks down and clasps his hands together.
"Why won't you tell me?" I shuffle away from him slowly.
"I can't" He doesn't look me in the eyes
"Of course you can it doesn't matter" I start to get infuriated. Why doesn't he get that it doesn't matter who he has to kill we all have to do this? It doesn't make a difference.
He looks at his hands and I see in his face that he's not going to tell me
"Well why can't you tell me" I shout
"I can't tell you that either" I throw my hands up in despair "But I swear this doesn't mean I don't trust you, I do It's just-"
I cut him off exasperated "Why won't you tell me" I get up and walk back slowly as he still watches his hands "Don't you trust me?"
"What" Tobias scrambles up and starts towards me "Of course I trust you" He reaches out to touch my cheek but I hit him away
"You don't trust me at all do you"
"Of course I-"
"Stop" I push him away and run to the door "I bet you never even loved me did you?"
I feel tears sprouting in my eyes as I run out of the room leaving Tobias far behind
"Cassia" I hear his cry from behind me
