I pull Tobias up the stairs and into a large room with a soft springy floor and a glass ceiling.
"Wow," Tobias says in awe. He flops down to the floor and pulls me down with him. I fall almost on top of him and I look up at him as he looks down at me. He holds my gaze as I breathe heavily and scoot away rapidly. We both lie back on the floor and stare through the glass ceiling to the stars above.
"They're so beautiful," I sigh and I lean my head on his shoulder as gaze into the stars
"Not as beautiful as you," He turns towards me smiling, eyes gleaming green and I loose myself in them, shining, glimmering, happy.
"I'm not beautiful," I say turning away from him back up to the stars
"Yes you are," He leans up on his elbows and I wrench my eyes away from the stars and back to his face, "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen,"
I cast my eyes down and bite my lip and then look back up at him. "You really think so?"
"I know so," He grins down at me, "Trust me."
I nod carefully and turn back to the stars.
He falls back and stares into the sky.
I watch the stars and try to ignore the fact that he called me beautiful.
What felt like hours later I felt the warmth of Tobias' lips against mine. It was sudden that I nearly hit him away. But I didn't. It felt right. I don't know how or why but this boy feels right to me. As he kisses me I feel so warm and full that i can't help but kiss back.
