"Hey, Cole?" Prince Lucas said.
"Yes, Princey?" Cole laughed. The white around his eyes became brighter as he laughed.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE WE GOING?" Lucas shouted at Cole getting impatient
"Relax! We are just going through a short cut!" Cole snapped back. "I promise you'll be back to your tiny sandwiches and overpriced teacups soon." Cole teased.
"That tears it!" Prince Lucas yelled. He wiped out his sword and charged towards Cole. I ran after him.
"Prince Lucas! Stop!" I screamed tackling him to the ground. A big thump echoed through the seas as we hit the deck. "Look, he's going to get us home. So, play nice." I told him through my teeth.
"Fine but I don't trust him. He's a pirate!" Prince Lucas insulted. I rolled my eyes.
"Ahoy, Matey!" Cole mocked with a snicker adjusting his stance to be cheesy and confident.
"Focus on the wheel!" I yelled back to Cole.

Princess Heather stood looking down to the water. She adjusted her feet to be right at the edge of the cliff. Her eyelids fluttered until she saw nothing but black. Holding her breath, she jumped.
A hand grabbed her. She screamed. "Get off me!" The hand pulled her even harder, trying to get her away from the cliff, trying the save the young princess's life.
Princess Heather's red dress got ripped to shreds rubbing against the rocks. The skin of her legs was covered by blood and scrapes. The hand didn't give up. It pulled harder. It was determined to save her.
With a lot of hard work, Heather laid on the grass alive. Her breathing became slower.
--------
That's when I heard the yells for help. "PLEASE!!! HELP!! ANYONE!!" the mouth attached to the hand screamed. A man. A feeling in my chest told me to stop the boat. It wasn't my mind or my heart. Something stronger.
"Dock the boat," I commanded.
"Excuse me?" Cole sassed. I gripped Cole's popped collar. He yelped.
"Dock the boat," I repeated with more force.
The screams continued. I paced the deck. Back and forth. Back and forth. As we got closer, Prince Lucas started to hear them too. I sighed in relief that I wasn't crazy.
Cole tied down the ship as Prince Lucas and I ran off. "Hello?" I yelled following the screams. Prince Lucas and I ran to the voices while Cole docked the boat.
"Wait! I know that scream!" Prince Lucas ran to the cliff. He knelt beside Heather. "MOVE!" he screamed in the man's face. The man was so startled that he stumbled to the ground. "What happened?" Prince Lucas asked the mysterious man.
"She.. she was trying to jump off the cliff!" the man told us. "I tried to pull her back up..." The man's face was kind and his voice quivered as he spoke.
"Is that Princess Heather?" I asked shyly.
"Heather!" Prince Lucas cried answering my question. Princess Heather gasped for a breathe. Prince Lucas put his ear to her chest. "Heather! Heather! Please... please!" Prince Lucas's voice faltered. The man stood over us watching Lucas fall to pieces. Looking at the man's face, I realized he wasn't a man at all. He was just a boy not much older than I was.
Lucas realized that Heather's breathe wasn't steady anymore. He gave up hope.
The boy's eyes crossed mine. I remembered reading this one page of the book Cole gave me. The boy's eyes were glowing gold around the edges. He... he's a golden eye. I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
