T.j's P.O.V

T.j put on his helmet excited. He couldn't wait to see Cyrus. He didn't think Cyrus knew how to ride, he could get to teach him. Cyrus would be so good and cute on a dirt bike. "Yo, Kippen, you aren't high why's your head in the clouds?" Lester interrupted his thoughts. "No Lester. It's hi, Kippen you aren't yo why's you? I think..." Reed trailed off. T.j looked between his two 'friends'.

Ever since T.j's mom had passed it was hard hanging out with them. He was in therapy over it. He would take Mrs. Goodman's advice and try to open up to them but there reactions were either, "I'm sorry your mom's gone but you just have to move on." or "This is why drug's and alcohol exists."  Since his mom died he went through a few things. Drinking almost every single night. Getting caught and realizing that's what killed his mom. Getting depressed and having anxiety issue's. Self harm... "Dude, lets just ride. Oh, and remember when Cyrus shows up to gently urge him ride. Lester you better leave that to Reed." He reminded them. Lester nodded in agreement. They rode for awhile before Cyrus showed up.

Cyrus walked up with his bike cycle looking seriously confused, T.j came to a stop and Cyrus smiled. "Hey," he said. He was wearing jeans, a red shirt, and a grey hoodie. It wasn't T.j's though. T.j looked back waiting for his boyfriend and friend to come to a stop. Then he took off his helmet and smiled. "Hey! You made it!" He was so happy to finally introduce Cyrus to his friends. "Uh, Cyrus this is Lester," he pointed to Lester "and this is Reed." T.j turned and pointed at Reed and who had taken off his helmet. "Hey," Reed said. Cyrus smiled and nodded to them. "You didn't tell me there were going to be dirt bikes." Cyrus pointed out. T.j hadn't wanted to tell him, he wanted to teach him. "Ever been on one?" T.j asked. "As a matter of fact Andi has one. I hid it in my garage and rolled it to the school parking lot." Cyrus proudly state, "So no." He said. This is what T.j had expected. He really enjoyed his 'Muffin's' personality. T.j patted his bike. "They're really fun." he grabbed his helmet offering it to Cyrus, "give it a shot!" Cyrus shook his head. "No thanks. I have a fear of basically everything going on here." T.j wished Cyrus would learn to face his fears. Reed laughed "T.j was right. You are funny."

"I don't know." Cyrus said quickly. "Well come on, say something else funny." Reed gently encouraged Cyrus. T.j had thought bringing them would make him happy but it felt like Reed's high ass was just making fun of him. "My humors mostly observational and character evening." Reed laughed again, "that's good. That's good." He said. "Hot crowed" Cyrus said turning to T.j. "You gonna ride?" Reed asked, even though they had just talked about it. "I'm good." Cyrus replied. "What's wrong you don't got a bike? Use mine man." Reed offered. Reed was nice, T.j reminded himself, that's why your dating him. For some reason those words 'dating him' didn't trike the same amount of excitement in him as it used to. "That's okay. I have a complicated relationship with wheels." Cyrus was really into not doing anything he hadn't done before. "Okay, I get it. It's not really your thing. Well maybe it could be your thing. Ya never really know unless you try." Reed was sly and great at encouraging Cy. Cyrus looked from Reed to T.j. T.j nodded in a 'go for it man' type of way.

They geared up Cyrus and got him on the bike. "Okay so this is clutch." T.j said pulling the clutch on the bike. "Pushing the, uh, shifter right?  You keep the clutch in," he put his foot on the shifter, "One down, four up okay? All right let's do this. That's brake okay? You gotta be pretty firm with that." T.j guided Cyrus through everything. Telling him everything he needed to know and Cyrus figuring some things out for himself. T.j walked back to Reed and Reed handed him his helmet. T.j put it on Cyrus. "Nice." T.j laughed Cyrus looked good. He fist bumped him, patted his helmet and walked over to stand with Reed.

Cyrus was off to a shaky start but seemed to be getting the hand of it. Reed laughed at Cyrus grabbing on to T.j and shaking him. T.j dropped his smile "stop." he commanded him. Cyrus tried to make it up a hill but rolled down it. "Come on. Come on Cyrus you got this!" T.j urged. Cyrus tried again but didn't make it. "Come on man. Keep it going! Give it one more try!" T.j heard Reed in his ear mocking his encouragement.  Eventually Cyrus got over it andd T.j was so proud. He cheered for his friend while his boyfriend mocked it.
