Bad Dreams

I was panicking so much I started to feel sick I went outside again and saw a park just across the road with swings and a shoot. I looked both ways before I ran across the road it was surrounded by trees, so I tried to find an entrance.

"Katie" I shouted when I got into the park, I looked at everything there was she was no where. There was a couple of people there, but only one person that caught my eye this boy, hey were just sitting on the swing. He saw me looking at him then started looked away

"are you looking for me?" A voice said coming from behind me, as soon as I turned round I was hopeing it was Katie

"where were you, you scared me to death don't ever do that to me again!"

"Wow clam down, you found me now didn't you"

When we got back into the house I gave Katie a quick tour of the house then showed her the two rooms that she could choose from.

"Choose your room, unpack, get changed into your swimsuit, then come out to the back garden".

"Why?" She asks.

"it's a surprise"

"you know I hate surprises, so you have to tell me" she has that cheeky smile on her face that really frustrates me.

"well I'm guessing your just going to have to wait" I could tell she was annoyed, I gave her the same cheeky smile she gave me, then I went down the stair.

I found my mum in the kitchen as per usual.

"So how do you like the house?" She said when I was walking in, I knew she would want me to say something like 'Its Amazing' or 'I Love It'.

"Yeh it's alright I guess" I said. I saw the look on her face as soon as I finished the sentence, I couldn't help but feel bad.

"Okay, I Love It! Its Amazing!" I said guilty.

"I knew you would love it, isn't it great, I bet your even more excited for school" my heart almost stopped .

"wait, what?"

"I shouldn't of brought that up oops"

"I forgot all about school".

I went into my room and sat at the end of my bed, just try and forget about it. I just remembered that I'm meant to meet Katie outside at the "hot tub". I quickly put my black bikini on them slipped my feet through my sparkly grey flip flops that were so big for me every time I take a step one of them falls off. When I get outside its so warm I don't know how were going to even get into the "hot tub". I almost forgot something, I ran into the kitchen poured us both a drink of lemonade, I found a a packet of drink umbrellas and put one in each of the drinks then found a plate and put the two drinks on it. I was taking my time trying to get out of the kitchen. I sat the plate beside the "hot tub", it was getting darker and chillier. I saw Katie come out of the house with her purple bikini on and her blue fleece on top of it. Why is she wearing a fleece, is it just me? It's like 90 degrees here. I don't think she saw the " hot tub" until she got closer.

"ohh my god is that a..".

"yes it is it a-".

"HOT TUB" she said before I did.

"Yes its a hot tub". I said

We dipped our feet in first until the warmth of the bubbles came to our chest.

"Lemonade" I offered Katie

"why thank you" she said trying to act poshly.

We stayed in for a while until we started to get wrinkles on our hands and feet. "I'm going out now" I said to Katie, her face looked as if she was devastated but she ended up coming out too.

I put my towel down just out side so that I could step on it and not the grass, and wiped my feet until they were kinda dry but kinda damp. I was just waiting for Katie to dry her feet and put her shoes on now.

"Lola" she said innocently.

"Yeh?" I answered without looking at her because I was busy putting my flip flops on.

"I forgot my sandals could you give me a piggy back to the house, and maybe if your fit enough you could take me to my room".

"Fine, come on get on my back" I said.

"Thanks" she said while climbing on my back.

I raced into the house up the stairs and into her room, I smashed her on her bed lightly so it didn't hurt her or hopefully it didn't.

"Night" I said to her as I walked over to the door.

"Thanks and good night" she said pulling herself up from the bed.

I closed the door over slowly then walked into my room and got changed into my geeky pj's, I pulled the covers right down so that I could get in then pulled them right up over my shoulder. I lightly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

All I could remember was going to sleep but I woke up scared to death with the terrible dream I had, I tried to take my mind of it, but it was hard especially when it was about my dad.
