Chapter 3

Thunder by Imagine Dragons playing, woke me up from my sweet and beautiful sleep.

I could hear movement and then my head being lifted slightly as they moved their arm reaching for something.

After a little while the sound of my phone going dead went off.

"Hello?" Alex said to the person on the other side of the line.

"Ay. She is just taking a nap. Ay, I'll wake her up and tell her. Ay. Cool. When? Sure. Okay. Okay. Bye." He said and ended the call.

He moved my head again making me realize that I was no longer sleeping on his stomach but in his arms.

I snuggled up to him by putting my right arm around his waist and my head on his chest.

A few minutes later he started to shake me lightly and whispering in my ear.

"Baby. Baby wake up. Carter you have a fight in about 30 minutes." Alex said softly in my ear. I opened my eyes slowly blinking up at him with a smile on my face.

"So I'm your 'baby' now?" I teased him a little although I liked It if he called me his baby.

"Oh shut up and get ready we leave in 20." He said with a big smile on his face as he moved from under me to get up and to the bathroom down the hall of the lounge.

"JC. JC wake up. You coming to my fight, right?" I sat on my knees beside him and poked his face then slapped him lightly on the cheek.

He shot up and looked at me with a big grin on his face.

"Hell yeah I am." He said and walked to his room to get changed with me going to my room.

As I was taking my jeans and top off, Alex came in and sat on my bed.

I was comfortable changing infront of him. Because we have seen each other naked since we were babies.

As I was putting my shoes on he came over and tied my shoelaces for me.

"So you won't fall down." He said as he came up, trailling his fingers up my leg. When he came to a stop just before his hand could touch my privates he put his hands at his sides and turned around from me to the door.

"We should go." He said before he went out the door and downstairs were JC was waiting for us.

What was that all about? If he wanted to kiss me, what's stopping him?

Shaking my head to clear off those questions, I made my way downstairs to my brother.

"Hey bro. Can we talk real quick?" I whispered to him.

"We can talk when we get back. You've got to be there in 15 minutes." He said giving me a hug before he pushed us all out the door to his car.

By the time we got there, Maddox was full of people.

Maddox is a place were all types of Boxers go. In the basement of it is were they held the boxing fights. The top floor is a gym and the second floor is for private lessons.

We all got out of my brother's car and made our way to the side of the building were the boxers can go in without people flocking them.

As we got closer, Mikey  (the guard) greeted us and stepped aside to let us through.

Music blasted through the building making the walls and floors shake when the beat drops everytime.

I love this place so much. When I'm having a bad day. Good day. Sad day. This place was there for me everytime.
