Side stepping my opponent, I looked to the crowd to see if he was there.

My eyes caught on to someone who looks just like him.. maybe it is him.

Just as my hopes got up, the person turned around, and all my hopes shattered again.

He said he was going to be here. He said he would be standing at the bar. But he isn't.

I looked back at my mother and my father's best friend( and my couch) standing there shouting something at me.

They both said they were going to be here. And they aren't here.

Not my father and not even them.

Just as I turned my head back to my opponent, I got a blow to my left cheek followed by one to my right and then one to my ribs.

I fell back holding my ribs as tears tried to break free. But I wouldn't let them.

"Carter! Get up! Carter you got this! Get up!" I kept hearing someone shout my name but I couldn't care less.

I heard the faint sound of the end of round 4 and I felt a light tug on my arm.

I didn't pay attention to anything, except for the pain. If they were here, I could have been focused on them and not the pain.

Something tugged on my arm again and all of a sudden I'm pulled up roughly and pushed into a chair.

I let out a scream of pain before opening my eyes again.

I was starring at the man that came into my life and took me out of my shell and cracked that bitch open and broke it with a 100 pound hammer.

"What are you doing? You can do better then this. Get your ass up there and win this. If not for us, then do it for yourself. You are doing all of this for yourself. Now finish it. I want to see you win this, Carter!" My father said and pushed me to him. He hugged me tight against him. As if he is afraid that if he lets go of me I would crumble to the ground.

He let go of me after a while then turned me around.

As I was confused. I looked around and spotted them.

I spotted Alex near the ring next to my mother smiling at me and cheering me on. And Nick next to uncle Jake.

Ding

The bell went for the last round and my opponent is already bouncing up and down.

"I love you Carter and good luck." My father said and hugged me one last time and pushed me in the middle of ring and then jumped out the ring and stood next to my mother.

"Get ready to loose baby girl." Said my opponent circling around me.

"Enough talk. Your all bark with a pathetic bite. Bring it on you bitch!" I said and just as those words left my mouth I ducked out of the way and dodged more punches as he kept throwing more and more at me.

Time to shine Bitch.
