Chapter 2

The bell went off, signaling the end of the day.

I shot out of my seat and made a bee line to Alex's truck. All my homework that I have to do is already in my bag. So I don't have to worry about that.

And I don't have to go to my locker.

As I made my way across the parking lot to Alex's Chevrolet Truck, a hand came down on my ass. Hard.

"Nice ass there Sky." A hoarse deep voice whispered in my ear.

Ugh.

Not now.

I slowly turned to the voice and when my eyes landed on the person's face, I needed to do a double take.

Jesse Roberto.

The Jesse Roberto touched my ass.
He spanked my ass.
And he called my ass nice.

"Ah. I see you are at a loss for words there Sexy." He boosted his own ego.

"Nice firm grip you still have on my ass there Roberto?" I sassed putting my hand on his chest.

"Hell ya I do. So. Did you hear about the party at my house?" He said shaking my butt and giving it a light spank before stepping back and leaning against his car.

"Ay. I have. Why?" I asked as I looked around for Alex.

"Well, are you going to go to it?" He asked. Speaking to me like I was dumb.

"Ay. She is going. She's going to go to the party with me. Now Roberto, do you mind leaving her alone?" Alex suddenly spoke out of nowhere.

"Ah. The Geek is here. And the Geek is going to the party. My party. With my girl." Jesse said. He nodded once and walked off to the other side of his car and got in.

The engine loud and clear as he speeds up and away from the school.

We stood in the same spot for a couple of minutes in silence. I decided to break that with a 8 pound hammer.

"So. Are we going to leave or are we waiting for him to come back?" I asked Alex making us both laugh loudly well we got in the car and headed back to my house.

Just as we turned into my street, I sow a car turn into our driveway.

This car could be described as brand new from afar. But as you get closer and closer it looks like someone has been driving in the desert with it.

"Who is that?" Alex asked as we parked next to the old new looking car.

"I have no idea. Let's just go in and see. Maybe it's one of the nannies. You know 'Oh look I'm driving pappi's car' girls like that." I said and opened my door and got out.

Alex followed close behind me as we made our way inside the house and to the kitchen were most of the noise is coming from.

As we creeped to the kitchen door, a very familiar voice spoke.

"Oh my goodness. They are so big now. Hey what's wrong? Mom what's happening? Why are they doing that?" He started to freak out.

"I don't know. They only do that when Carter is home. It's asif she has this device on her that turns them against me. But it's so adorable. Wait a minute." My mother said and after that there was complete silence.

Out of nowhere two large arms wrapped around my waist making me let out a scream and Alex to laugh before my dad grabbed him the same way as me.

"Oh my God! JC, YOU'RE BACK. YOU'RE BACK. YOU'RE BACK!" I kept shouting as he spun us around.

"Of course I came back." He said as he turned me around and gave me a huge bear hug.

"Aww. I want in on some of that." Alex said and out of the blue there was more weight on me.

All three of us kept hugging until JC lost his balance. Making us all to loose ours.

We went tumbling down to the floor and just lay there. To happy to get up.

My brother JC on my left, me in the middle and my best friend (and crush) Alex on my right.

They both were holding one of my hands in theirs as we just lay there on the floor.

That was until my mother shouted..

"DINNER."

We basically looked like wild animals fighting for the only piece of meat.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY." Alex. 
"NO. GIRLS NEED TO GO FIRST!" Me.
"I'M THE OLDEST HERE LET ME GO IN FIRST." JC.
"MOVE!" We all shouted as we came tumbling to the floor.

One ontop of the other.

JC ontop of Alex and me ontop of them both.

Taking that as my opening, I shot up and jumped over them like a ninja.

"SUCK ON THAT! I WON. I WON. I WON!" I shouted out and did a little happy dance.

After my victory I settled at the table as my brother and best friend tried to stand up.

"When we are done eating you grab her feet and  I'll grab her upper body." JC said softly to Alex.

"You got it." Alex said as he sat down next to me.

I was scared but when the food went into my mouth, I lost that in my mind.

After we ate both boys were looking at one another. It was like they were having a silent convo with their eyes.

After a little while both boys jumped up and ran at me.

Oh no. Their plan!

I was to late to get out of their reach. They grabbed me and took me to the lounge.

They put me down on the floor and started tickling my sides like crazy.

"STOP PLEASE STOP. " My cries were in vain as they kept on with their attack on my sides.

After about 20 minutes of me crying for them to stop, they stopped and lay on the floor with me.

My head on Alex's stomach. Alex's head on JC's stomach and JC's head on my stomach.

Alex kept playing with my hair as I ran my fingers through JC's hair.

After a while we fell asleep like that. None of us wanted to move.

As I fell asleep on Alex's stomach, the last thing I heard was JC saying..

"You may be my best friend but if you hurt Carter... I'll hurt you." JC said softly with all seriousness in his tone.

"JC... you know that I liked her since we were 10. I don't like her anymore. I love her. But she doesn't seem to love me." Alex said and laid his large warm hand on my cheek.

"Alex... man look just pull her aside and tell her how you feel about her." JC said.

"I think I'm gonna do that tom-" I didn't hear anything after that.

I was smiling like an idiot as I fell asleep that night thinking about how Alex loves me.
