Dianne's pov

Pete had left for LA a couple hours ago not even saying goodbye . He was gone for six months and he just left . I knew in my heart I couldn't keep doing it . Being a relationship that seemed so one sided . I glanced over at the clock and head to the bar to get ready for my shift .
At The Bar
8:30pm
My boss was a chilled out young woman who was still new to the industry. Her name was Amy Dowden . I helped her out a lot .
"So we have enough Alcohol for the party tonight in the private bar and also in the main bar " Amy says as we walk into the main bar
"Yep. Neil ,Aj,Chloe and Katya are working the private bar while Kevin,Me ,Karen and Johannes are working the main bar ." i explained to Amy .
"Thank you Dianne " Amy says
"Don't worry . I'll keep you posted . Opening is in about half an hour so we just need to set up a little more and make sure everything the birthday party girls requested is in the private bar " I explain to Amy
She nods and heads up the bar.
I take out my phone

I put my phone away and got ready for everyone to be let in
I began to serve everyone as floods of people came in .
Everyone who was working on the bar with me were clearing tables .
I saw a group of guys and girls walk in .
I continued to clean the bar .
"Hiya can we order some drinks " A male voice said
A male voice I recognised
I looked up
"Certainly " I said

"Can I have 2 coke and vodkas,6 pints of larger ,2 cokes and one orange juice " Joe asked
"Course " I say walking over to the fridge .
I make the drinks as Joe talks to his mates .
"That £39.93 please" I said
He hands me the money
"By the way Hi Dianne " Joe says
"Hi Joe." I say with a smile
"See you later " He says
"I'm here all night " I say with a wink
He winks back and walks of with his mates and his drinks
1am
Joe walks over to the bar.
"Hey Joe " I say
"Hey " He says with a smile
"You okay " I say
"Tired but I wanna make sure they all get home Alright " Joe says looking back at his mates.
"I'll call them all an Uber and I'll get you a coke " I say
"Thanks Di" He says
I get Joe a drink and then order Joe's friends an Uber .
"I'll go help them out " Joe says
"Need help " I say
"If your not busy " Joe says
"Kev watch the bar I'll be back in ten " I say
"Okay " Kevin says
I walk over with Joe to his mates .
"Right lads an Uber's on its way so be getting ready to leave " Joe says
"Whyyy it's like 9" one of Joes blonde friends  says
"It's actually 1:10" I say
"And Who May you be young pretty lady " Joe's ginger friend says
"I'm engaged but thanks anyway " I say
He sighs and sits back in his seat while Joe laughs
"You know Joes right I'm just ready to leave " Conor says
"Alright grandad " Another one says  says
"Your Uber's here " I say looking at my phone
All the lads make there way out side and into the car .
"You coming Joe" The blonde one says
"I'll just walk Caspar it's fine " Joe says
"Alright see you tomorrow " He says
Joe shuts the door and the car drives off .
Me and Joe is walk back into the bar.
"I'm gonna head of Dianne . Is it alright if you lock up " Kevin says
"Yeah sure " I say
Amy was in her flat above with her boyfriend . I was sorting things out for tomorrow with Joe .
"I'm going to get my stuff from the back wait here " I say walking behind the bar .
At Dianne's Flat
2am
Me and Joe are sat on my sofa laughing and talking .
I go to the bathroom .
I take out my phone
59 missed calls from Pete
2,569 unread texts
99 voicemails
I sighed and call him
D:Hey Pete sorry if it's late is everything alright
P:Why haven't you been answering me
D:I've been working . To earn money . So I can like survive
P: Don't cheek me you bitch . Listen you always answer me . I'm in charge of you . I own you
D:good night Pete
P:Dianne don't you fucking dare put this phone down
I hang up
I sigh and put my phone in my bedroom.
I walk into the living room to see Joe staring at his phone screen
"Who were you talking to ?" Joe asks
"My Fiancé " I sigh , sitting beside Joe
"Does He always talk to you like that" Joe asks
"Yeah he does but I'm use to it " I say
"Dianne He shouldn't treat you like that ." joe says
"I know he shouldn't but if I try and leave him he'll find me and do something to me " I explain
"Dianne you shouldn't have to live like this and if you feel in your heart that you don't love him then leave him " Joe says
"I wish I could Joe. I really wish I could " I say
Joe hugs me tightly
We pull away from our hug
Our faces get closer and I stare into Joe's eyes
I kiss Joe and he kisses me back .
