The next day you see Tsubaki staring at her textbook and notice the saddness in her eyes and the feeling was never going away that it was your fault she was a good student but things had got out of hand not only did you tell her about your past but you also told her that you can't die.

[I'm so stupid] you think as the bell rings.

"Ok class I want you all to review chapters 12, 26 and 45 on soul resonance as there will be a quiz tomorrow but other than that just relax ok" you say as everyone leaves except for Tsubaki and Crona who walk up to you.

"Um Mr Rex would you mind helping me study" Crona asks.

"Of course I will come to your homes and help you study after I am finished with my paperwork" you say.

"Thank you Mr Rex see you later" Crona says before heading home.

"You ok Tsubaki" you ask her.

"Yes it's just I want to know what you meant by you can't die" Tsubaki asks as you lean back.

"Well how should I put it I guess when Lucy's soul was forced into mine by Asura it caused a slight change turning my soul into half kishin and half human but of course I can't be sure" you say as she nods and leaves.

[Your a good student Tsubaki but in the end I'm a bad teacher even so I hope to see BlackStar make you a death scythe] you think as you get back to your paperwork.

The sun was setting and as you got done with the last bit of paperwork you see how late it is and are about to leave when you hear a female voice.

"Rex" ??? Says as you head to the door and look round but see no one but you feel a hand on your back and you quickly turn round and see no one again.

"Who are you do you need help" you say only to hear your name.

"Rex" ??? Says again this time you leave the room to see a little girl with brown hair standing at the end of the hallway.

"Hello there where did you come from" you say as you walk cautiously.

"You failed" she says as you stop and look at her.

"I don't understand how did I fail you were you a student of mine" you say as you see her grow taller but soon looked familiar.

"L...Lucy" you say as she starts walking towards you with a smile.

"Look at you not aged a day" Lucy says as she rubs your cheek.

"I don't understand how are you here" you say as she begins to laugh and digs her fingers into your cheek drawing blood which causes you to jump away.

"Oh no don't leave you still need to bleed some more come on give it to me give me your blood partner" she says with a psycho look on her face.

Lucy runs at you but you dodge only to be caught by a scarf that was being weared by Asura that slammed you down onto the floor and holds you down as more psycho looking Lucy's appear with swords in hand and stab you over and over before you shoot up from your desk covered in sweat.

"A dream it was just a dream or maybe a nightmare it's late I'll make a stop at Crona and Tsubaki's homes see how there doing and then get home" you say as you walk out the classroom at the down the streets to Crona's house.

You knock on the door and the boy with pink hair answered and you and Crona spend an 1 hour studying and soon Crona began to understand more and more which made you happy to know as you finished you leave Crona to the last bit of his reviewing and headed to Tsubaki's home.

after walking to Tsubaki and BlackStars home you knock on the door and you see Tsubaki open the door with her hair down and in normal clothes as you walk into the house you see a messy room that you knew belonged to BlackStar and another that was clean and calm which was Tsubaki's room as you entered.

"Lets get started" you say as you and Tsubaki sit at the small table in the living room and open the text books.

"Ok lets see you said you don't get how soul resonance works" you say as Tsubaki nods.

"I know about it and how to do it but as for how it works not so much" Tsubaki say before looking up at you to see a smile on your face.

"Ok how to put it I know think of it like this imagine you and BlackStar each have say 20 lets call them soul pieces so all together you have 40 soul pieces and each piece is a part of your life, soul resonance is like a connection of those piece" you say.

"So it's like a puzzle" she says.

"Sort of you see they all connect together and allows 2 people to become 1 and it allows both meister and weapon to feel the others emotions for me it was different" you say looking at the table.

"How" Tsubaki asks.

"Before the war with Asura I was a no good punk never listening to anyone looking out for number 1 but that all changed when Lucy came and put me on this path ever since then I have thanked her for all she had done for me but the only thing I wish I could change was to save her life however she always said you must never stop moving always move forward" you say with a smile on your face.

"Well that's all I can do the rest is up to you Tsubaki and don't forget to rest ok and goodnight" you as you get up and walk out the front door to head home.

"Goodnight Rex-sama" Tsubaki whispers the sama part as you fade from sight.
