It was time for the final battle to begin as Lord Death, Maka and Soul got ready to face Asura who looked at them with a cocky smile as he pulled out the sword he got from Tenya Hibasu.
"Death today will be the day I beat you and plunge world into madness and you will watch as I slaughter your students" Asura says as Soul turns into his scythe form as Maka grabbed him.
"We will Asura just like before and Rex will help us" Maka says as she jumps in the air and swings Soul at Asura who blocks which causes Maka to jump back.
"Maka we need a plan" Soul says as Maka lands on her feet.
"I know but what" Maka says before Asura appears in front of her and punches her in the gut sending her flying into a wall.
"Welcome to reality children this is the power of a true kishin" Asura says as Soul changes back to his human form and stands in front of Maka as he looks Asura dead in the eyes.
"Your nothing Asura and you know what I am prepared to die for my meister just like I know professor Rex is prepared to die for us" Soul says as he turns his arm into the blade of a scythe and charges at Asura as Maka gets back to her feet.
Asura and Soul clash but soon Asura starts swinging the sword as Maka watched on along with Lord Death they see Soul fighting off Asura before Asura's sword hit Soul's blade arm.
"Oh look you just lost your arm" Asura says with a smile on his face before it disappears when he sees that Soul's arm as unharmed.
"That's impossible this sword should cut through everything so how did you block it" Asura said in pure shock as Soul started pushing him back.
Maka soon ran towards him as Soul changed back to his scythe form as they started cutting Asura with every move they made as the others joined in BlackStar and Tsubaki attacking from behind with Kid, Liz and Patty shooting from above and finally Crona attacking with Maka and Soul at the front.
as they attack Asura he lets out a massive soul wave sending them all flying Kid, Liz and Patty are sent flying 5 feet north of Asura, Maka and Soul are sent 5 feet east of Asura, BlackStar and Tsubaki are sent 5 feet east of Asura and Crona was sent 5 feet south of Asura but BlackStar and Tsubaki soon charged back in as Asura had to block every slash of Tsubaki's enchanted sword mode.
"This is the last moment you children will ever see take this KISHIN MADNESS. WAVE" Asura yelled as a black orb surrounded Maka and Soul as the others got ready to fight.

"Ok this is weird where we" Soul asked as Maka looked round.
"Your in your minds and must I say not bad the pair of you make me proud" you says they turn to look at you.
"Professor Rex what is this why are we here" Maka asked as you look at them with a smile.
"This is my way of making you stronger you see there is a reason why I need to have the 8 of you here to face Asura you see I place a piece of my soul inside all of you as protection and now that your here you and Soul will now get a power that will help you" you say as the 2 of them look at each other in confusion before you disappear.
Maka and Soul soon wake up to see BlackStar, Crona and Kid fighting Asura they soon jump beside Maka and Soul as Liz, Patty and Tsubaki change back to human for as they all surround Asura who is confused at this action.
"Everyone ready" Maka asked as they all nod before aura surrounds them sky blue for BlackStar, yellow for Tsubaki, pink for Crona, white for Kid, purple for Liz and Patty, red for Soul and green for Maka as their aura began to form around Asura which caused him to scream in pain as he struggle to back free.
"What is going on Lord Death" Stein asked.
"All of Rex's soul piece are returning to his body which will force Asura out" Lord Death said as Asura began to glow and split in 2.
After the dust is gone everyone looks only to see Asura standing in front of them with sweat dropping down his face.
"It didn't work Rex didn't come back" Maka said as Asura rushed at her and grabbed her by the neck but nobody could help her as they were all exhausted from the battle before Asura is sent flying into a wall as a man appears before Maka as Tsubaki spoke.
"Professor Rex" Tsubaki said as he looked at her with a smile.
"Been a long time you have all done well but let your teacher deal with him ok" you say before looking back at Asura who emerged from the rubble with anger in his eyes.
"YOU BASTARD HOW DARE YOU FORCE ME ASURA OUT" Asura shouts as you smile at him.
"You know Asura the real fight is about to begin but only one of us will die here" you said as you prepared to face Asura 1 more time.
