Asura, Medusa and Simon appear in front of death city as Asura stares at the army that will face them as a smile breaks out across his face as the 3 of them rush at Death soon everyone was split up Spirit, Stein, BlackStar and Tsubaki vs Simon then Marie, Crona, Kid, Patty and Liz vs Medusa and finally Lord Death, Maka and Soul vs Asura.
-to Simon's battle-
"Time to show everyone how big of a star I am Tsubaki enchanted sword mode" BlackStar said as Tsubaki transforms into a black sword.
"Oh please I have trained with swords for years little boy" Simon says as he pulls a sword out of thin air.
As BlackStar rushed at him Simon swung his sword as BlackStar blocked it but was soon pushed back by the impact.
"Well I can say this he's just as strong as professor Rex which means this fight will be tough but with Tsubaki as my partner I can't lose" BlackStar says as he rushes at Simon again but this time disappears and then slashes Simon in the back and reappears.
As Simon clashed swords with BlackStar Stein watch as he saw BlackStar show how much he improved he had changed the loud BlackStar had gone and now he was acting more like the assassin that he was trying to be.
BlackStar never slowed down in fact he was getting faster and faster until Simon caught him with the hilt of his sword and soon kicked BlackStar in the air as he prepared to attack before Stein and Spirit joined the battle to prevent what every Simon was planning as BlackStar hit the ground before getting back to his feet.
"No matter what I do I can't seem to find an opening how can I beat someone who is just as fast as professor Rex" BlackStar says as he looks at Tsubaki in her enchanted sword mode.
(Flashback)
"Listen BlackStar to beat an opponent who uses speed then you need to be even faster" you said as BlackStar looked confused.
"But what if your opponent is even faster than you" BlackStar asked.
"Let me show you" you say as you grab a wooden sword.
"You back in the old days I found myself fighting people who had me beat in speed so I made a special move that increase your speed I call it soul wave road but this is only 1 of 2 the second is..." you said as the flashback began to end.
(End of flashback)
"Oh yeah lets try it" BlackStar says as he closes his eye and stands still as Simon breaks past Stein and Spirit and heads for BlackStar.
"Ha stupid move to close your eyes in battle kid now die" Simon says as he thrusts his blade towards BlackStar but misses as BlackStar move with lightning speed a sky blue aura appears around him and Tsubaki.
"I have done it soul wave road activated" BlackStar says as he rushes at Simon as Simon is thrown back by the impact of their swords.
[How the hell did he do that it was not just speed it's like his whole body is made of steel" Simon says as his sword broke before dropping it as BlackStar had Tsubaki stand back.
"So you want to end this by fists instead of swords ok then lets go" Simon says as he rushes at BlackStar and gives him a punch to the jaw sending him flying.
As they battled Stein, Spirit and Tsubaki watch as BlackStar gave everything he has to the fight as he kicked Simon to the ground but Simon then jumped back into the air and began to throw punch after punch at BlackStar as they both hit the floor.
"I will end this here and now BlackStar" Simon said showing BlackStar respect as a warrior as rushed at BlackStar one more time.
["BlackStar remember to always try your best and if you ever find your self in need of a boost then use the 2nd move"] BlackStar hears your voice in his head as soul wave road changes and soon the energy goes to his right fist as lightning forms.
"This is it the final move professor Rex taught me LIGHTNINIG SOUL PHOENIX" BlackStar shouts as his punch forms into a huge lightning bird as it hit Simon causing a pillar of light to form as it disappears Simon falls to the ground and the battle ends with team BlackStar winning.
As they all chained Simon up and began to move back to Lord Deaths location Simon speaks.
"Why do all this I mean Lord Asura will win and then this world will be full of madness" Simon says as Tsubaki answers.
"Easy because professor Rex told Lord Death to get us to force Asura out slitting them in 2 and after the war ends Rex will come home to the DWMA" Tsubaki says with a smile until she hears Simon laugh.
"Oh my dear girl they didn't tell you the truth did they when Asura and Rex slit their souls will become unstable and they will both die" Simon said as Tsubaki and BlackStar look at Spirit.
"Is that true" BlackStar asks.
"Yes but it was Rex's order" Spirit says as Tsubaki begins to cry as they made their way back to Lord Death.
