This is a pretty long chapter but I think it's a pretty good one. Hope you like it, vote and comment please!
When we got my grandparents we pulled up the driveway and started unloading the van. I grabbed the basket , lugging it a bit since it was heavy, and started leading the guys towards the deck. Suddenly I felt the basket become lighter. I looked to my right and saw Niall holding the other side of the basket. He smilied and I looked into his bright blue eyes. I was so distracted that I almost tripped over the steps leading up to the deck.
"Oops," Niall said catching my arm. "let's not get injured." I laughed and headed up the steps without tripping this time.
I sat on a bench while Liam and Harry spread out the blanket. Zayn and Louis were kicking a soccer ball around the field and Niall was yelling.
Oh my god, Kate! You all have a paddle boat!?" I thought he had gone insane.
"Um, yeah" I replied confused.
"I love paddle boats!" I giggled.
"Well, you all can try it out if you want."
"Yes!! Liam, come paddle boeat with me!" Liam headed towards Niall and the paddle boat.
"Alright, but not to long, I'm starting to get hungry."

All the guys took turns at the paddle boat while I sat on the dock laughing at them as they failed at steering. At one point Harry and Louis got stuck in the middle and couldn't turn around. While Liam and Zayn were yelling directions at them from the shore Niall and I ate our sandwhiches. When they finally got back the rest of the guys came up to eat. Niall grabbed my hands and pulled me towards the boat.
"It's your turn Kate!" We got in and paddled out past tje point where Harry and Louis got stuck. Then we just sat there in silence for awhile, but after a bit Niall broke it.
"So Kate, there's something I've been wanting to tell you" Oh, here it comes, the whole 'you're really cool, but we can't really go anywhere with this'.
"I really like you," that surprised me. "I realy like you and I have since i first saw you. So, I was wondering if you would go out with me sometime?"
Did that really just happen? Did Niall Horan just ask me out?
"Kate? Are you okay?" I was pulled out of my thoughts by the worry in his beautiful accent.
"Uh, yeah. Yes, I would love to go out with you." We hugged and he kissed me on the cheek. I could hear cheering in the background so I turned around and saw the boys celebrating on the dock. We headed back to the dock and I hugged the rest of the guys. We kicked the soccer ball around for awhile and had an awesome time.
Zayn's POV
"Hey Kate, can I use the bathroom?" I asked trying to get a excuse to get Anne alone.
"Yeah, come on I'll let you in." We walked into the house and she waited in the kitchen.
"You good?" she asked when I walked back in.
"Um, no, actually I have ti talk to you about something."
"OK"
"About Niall."
"Ok?" She seemed nervous ao I quickly began to talk to calm her nerves.
"He's a sensitive and gentle guy. I'm always a little afraid when he falls in love because if a girl hurts him he cold suffer for months. And there isn't a worse thing than seeing a really close friend feeling bad. This is valid for the rest of the group but Niall is different. In fact when he says to me 'Hey Zayn, I think I'm in love' I always say to wait and don't illude himself. He's suffered too much in the past because of love. So, if Niall falls in love with you, and I think he has, go easy. So, don't play his heart, he won't do it with you so it must be mutual. I hope that you know what kind of guy he is and how much he's fragile."
