Finally, the day has come!! I had to leave my parents, my friends, and my only little brother who I love so much.

I left my house on Friday afternoon. I was waiting at the airport to board my flight post-immigration. And I sent my goodbyes to my parents. I was upset to leave them and I was nervous as hell to pursue a life that is completely different and new to me. I was trembling to step into the flight and even I thought to back off, but I can't let my dreams & my parents' efforts go in vain. So I gained my strength and stepped up.

I got my seat and drifted off my hand luggage. I was very very very nervous because I never traveled alone and never ever traveled outside India. But this has to happen and I was sitting in a hope that I took the right decision in my life.

All the passengers were boarded and the flight was about to take off and I felt a little relief and I started to breathe normally.

I finally landed on the land of Canada, and I was still in disbelief that this is actually happening.

My dads' friend Mr. Collen Miller was a huge businessman in Canada, he had his penthouse in Ontario as her daughter studied in the same college where I am joining in. That is the actual reason my parents agreed to let me study here.

Uncle Collen picked me up from the Airport and took me to his apartment where I spent the rest of the weekend unpacking my pieces of stuff and arranging them.

Finally, Monday I joined the college and took my major in robotics, and started to live my dream which a little fear. But then the people and the environment were so welcoming that I started to live my life as how I actually wanted to be.

A month later, I got some friends. A few that I can pick the names of are Helena, Inaya, Sebastian, Brenda, and Lucifer.  I was very naive because of the place I born and brought up. India is a place where you cannot live your life liberally. There is still a large number of people who do arrange marriage. Hence I kept my friend circle smaller compared to others in the college. But these 5 people had my back always from the moment I joined the college.

Helena, Sebastian, and Lucifer are in my classes. whereas Inaya and Brenda are my friends from allied classes. My life was normal and I was busy with my routine like waking up in the morning, calling my parents and then taking a shower, getting ready for college, having breakfast in a cafe down the street from the apartment, walking to college, attending the classes, seminars, assignments and all the boring stuff, returning to the apartment, calling my parents, watching some TV, doing assignments, tutoring some students, making dinner and then sleep.

It may be the most boring life ever, but this is what I wanted to do... And I was happy with it... Until I meet Joanne Parker!
