A Dragon's Love

Chapter 1

Three Kingdoms, at war with each other, The Kingdom of Man, The Kingdom of Animals, and The Mage Kingdom. There was an evil growing in the land. The Mage King and King of man believed it was the animals. Because ever so often there would be humans that could turn into an animal, they where call Half Breeds, they where killed on sight, and those who survived
didn't last long in the forest of the Animals. A war broke out between the three Kingdoms, The Mage King and The King of Man joined forces  against the Animals, The Dragon, was the strongest of all the Animals, so he was chosen to lead the Animals. And thus making him King bringing the world war, The King of Man's son and daughter believed that the Animals where not the evil in the world and that something or someone was framing them.

(Y/N) POV
"Run (Y/N) Run!"that was the last thing my Dad told me to do, 'Why? Why did I have to be born a Half Breed?' I thought as I ran through the forest. I was currently in my wolf form hunting a deer. I was ten when my parents where killed, I'm fifteen now. I stalked the deer in front of me. Hunting had always come naturally to me thanks to my predator instincts, other wise I wouldn't have been able to live in the wild. Once I'd caught the deer I dragged it back to camp. I was tired, but I managed to get back to camp. I turned back to my human form and in my huntress clothes. Now with Half Breeds normally when you turn back you look like a normal human, but then there are some who will have an animal part like wings, tail, or ears. I am one of these unlucky few, with my (H/C) wolf ears and tail, I walked over to start a fire, I gathered some wood and set it alight, Then I got to work on the deer, removed the skin, bones, and organs. To me this was the worst bit. After finally cooking the meat and eating it, I got ready for bed, I turned into my wolf form, lay in my normal spot and let sleep over take me.
"Mom? Dad? Where are you?" Looking around I saw both my parents laying on the ground dead, puddles of blood soaking the floor. "Mommy?! Daddy!?" Suddenly my Dad moves and grabs my arm, his once blue eyes are white, the whites of his eyes are blood red, "You did this (Y/N), You Killed us."He said in a dark tone. "No,No,No!"
"No!!!!" I sat up abruptly sweat dripping down my neck, I was breathing fast, tears ran down my face, I'd turned back into my human form sometime last night. "It was just a dream" I said to clam myself down. "Just a........a dream." I let out a nervous breath. Once I'd calmed down I went for a walk in the woods.

'I'm lost.' This is what I get for getting attracted to a single field of flowers, And now I can't find the write road back home, "Nathan's gonna kill me." I sighed. I got tired from flying, so I landed, or um crashed from the lack of stamina. I past out near a stream, or at least that's what I saw last.

(Y/N) POV
While I was walking through the woods I found a stream, what shocked me was a man ,who looked like he'd past out, laying there. I walked up to him carefully. His red spiky hair was strange to me because most people I've seen had black, blonde, or brown hair. I looked him over to make sure he had no injures, He wore pants, Boots, and a sliver cap that had fur at the top and was burnt in more than one place at the bottom. I rolled him onto his back, he had no shirt, so his six pack and muscles showed. For some reason the sight made my blood rush to my cheeks. 'What's up with my cheeks?' I thought it very odd. As I thought this the man in front of me started to wake up. When he opened his eyes they where a crimson red. I was instantly afraid.

I opened my eyes to see a girl about my age looking a me, with (H/L) (H/C) hair, and the same color wolf ears and tail, as I sat up, she backed away while sitting, and moved her arms to shield her face for protection, her (E/C) eyes showed nothing but fear, I realized that she was afraid that I'd hurt her because she's a Half Breed. "Hey, Hey, don't be afraid, I'm not gonna hurt you." I said calmly. "Y...Your.....n..not....going to....hurt..m..e...?" She stuttered. I nodded no. Before she could reacted out of no where came a black bear. The girl turned into her wolf form, her (H/C) coat shone in the sun, she went on to the defense. The bear was twice her size. But the bear couldn't careless about her, it was more interested in me, the girl must of seen this because she jumped in front of me and growled at the bear, I was two shocked to react, the girl attracted the bear, they fought for twenty minutes tops, when the bear finally retreated, the girl turned back to her human form, breathing heavily, she fell onto her knees and hands, and began coughing, I finally found control of my feet and ran to her side, when I kneeled besides her I saw her hole body trembling. "Hey, are you ok?" I asked stupidly, she smiled weakly at me, she got up onto her feet. "I will be." She said, when she tried to walk she fell backwards, luckily to my quick reflexes I caught her, I picked her up bridal style. "What's your name?" I asked as she looked on the verge of passing out, "(Y..Y/N)." She said, "I'm Jason." I told her. She smiled at me before she passed out, her head on my chest.
