Chapter 2

(Y/N) POV
I woke up with a cap on me, I was very confused. I looked around to see the boy I'd meet at the stream carrying sticks, "Oh your awake, good I was beginning to worry." He put the sticks down and stared a fire. 'So he's not going to kill me?' I thought still confused, "Um your not going to kill me?" I asked. He seemed taken aback by my question, "No why would I kill you?" I was shocked, 'Does he not see my tail?' "Um I'm a Half Breed, normally when people see my they...." I trailed of at the end remembering what happened to my parents. I hadn't notice the tears running down my face until, "Hey, hey, it's ok, I'm not gonna hurt you, you saved my life I own you for that." He said panicking at my state. I giggled. "Anyway I couldn't kill a fellow Half Breed." He said. "Wait, your a Half Breed?" I asked "Yeah me and my brother." He said. "Um if you don't mind um...." "Jason, Jason Locks" He said, "(Y/N) (L/N)." I smiled at him showing my sharp teeth, "What where you doing by the stream, and why where you passed out?" I asked seeing how it was weird to find someone out here alone.

Jason POV
(Y/N) was carious about me to say the least, but was still nervous around me. "Well you see my other form is a dragon, me and my brother where out flying around, looking for someone, well he was, I got bored and got lost, I continued to be until you found me and saved me." She looked at me and nodded, "So what are you going to now?" She asked "I don't know, honestly my tracking skills aren't that great yet." I laughed, "Mmmh,I could help you get home." She offered

Third POV
In the dark part of the castle, a man was huddled over his paperwork. A boy of fifteen stepped into the room. His black hair and pail skin wear dulled by the candle light making his yellow eyes stand out. The man at the desk had the same features as the boy, "You wished to see me Father?" The boy asked, "Ah, Damian, I need you and your sisters to carry out an important task for me." The man said not looking up from his papers. "A task Father?" The boy questioned "Yes one I think you'll quite enjoy." Damian stayed quiet, "The Prince and Princess have run away again, I believe they have a plan to put an end to the war, so I need you to make sure it will be the last time they run away." Damian looked at his Father. "You wish for me to kill them?" He asked, "Precisely, if they are killed in the forest of the Animals they King will have no choice but to attack." Damian smirked in amusement at the thought, he bowed and said, "Consider it down Father, I shall ready my sisters." Damian took his leave out the room. "Finally, The game is afoot." The man said moving three pawns forward on a battle field.

(Y/N) POV
Jason and I where walking through the forest, after convincing him not to go alone.
Flashback
"I could help you get home." I offered
"Oh I don't know, I don't want to burden you or anything." Jason said shaking his hand in front of his face, "It wouldn't be a problem, or until you know your way if you prefer." I said getting nervous, living alone all theses year has set me on edge, but I sense he won't hurt me, he seemed to contemplate me idea. "Um, (Y/N), may I ask you something?" Jason asked me "Mhm." "Do you live here by yourself?" He asked. I nodded my head sadly, "You the first person I've talked to since my parents death." I said
End of Flashback
With that he decided I could come with him, he walked next to me with his cape on. While we were walking Jason started talking. "So, you've been asking a lot of questions, mind if I ask you some?" I was nervous, I'd never been asked questions before, and yet I felt like I could trust him, because if he wanted to hurt me he would have done it at the stream. "Ok I guess it's only fair." I said moving a branch so he could past, we were trying to climb the mountain ahead of us so he could point us in the right direction. "Ok first question, Why are you out here?" "Well, after my parents died, the rest of my family disowned me, so I came to the forest, being only ten, I was still a wolf pup, so a lone wolf took me in with her litter, they where my family for a time until I turned fourteen, there was a wolf who came looking to be Alpha of the pack, so my brother who was Alpha at the time took the challenge." I stopped to make sure Jason was following, he nodded for me to finish, "My brother lost, but when he was going to get kicked out, me and my two sisters and other brother stood by him, the four of them went made a pack of their own, and I felt as the one who got kicked out instead of my brother." I finished, Jason looked stunned, that he didn't see the tree ahead of him.

Jason POV
I walked into a tree, I heard (Y/N) giggle a little at me, 'Ok, Jason, maybe you should pick your questions more carefully' I thought for a little bit on what to ask, "So um do you have anything your afraid of ?" 'Ok, probably the dumbest thing I've asked'
"Um.....thunderstorms." She answered she looked a little embarrassed about it. I decided to drop the questions for now, we carried on for a little while. After walking through the forest, I was amazed at how (Y/N) knew her way around, her guard was up, her tail swayed by her legs, her ears twitched at every sound. I was also amazed at how she lived on her own for so long. All of a sudden (Y/N) stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked. "We're being followed." She went in to high alert.
