A Dragon's Love

Chapter 5

Nathan POV
I woke up to see that it was dawn, everyone else was still asleep. Luna was leaning on my shoulder, I moved her to lay in a more comfortable position, I put my coat over her, I saw Tom was in the same position I left him in last night, I look over to where my brother was, only to find him in his Dragon form, when I looked closer I saw a (H/C) fur coat under his left wing, I moved around his wing to see, (Y/N) sleeping next to him. She was curled up with her tail over her nose, Jason had his tail wrapped around her and his left wing over her protectively. I tapped his head, "Oi, Jay wake up!" I whisper/ yelled. Jason opened one eye. "Oi, if you wanna save yourself the embarrassment get up before she does." I nodded my head in the direction (Y/N) was in. Jason looked to where she was, his eyes widened, and I could've sworn I saw a light blush, which is pretty hard since his scales are a ruby red like his hair. He turned back into a human, once he did I slapped him across the head. "Hey! What was that for?" He whisper/ yelled at me. "Next time I won't save you from embarrassment, Got It?" I whisper/ yelled back.

(Y/N) POV
I woke up in my wolf form and to a lot of whispered yelling. I saw that Jason and Nathan where arguing about something. Luna came and sat next to me. "Morning." She yawned. "Morning, Princess." I replied. "Oh, no need to be formal, just call me Luna." She said. "Ok, mind if I ask you something?" "Mhm, go ahead." She answered. "What brings the Prince and Princess out in the woods?" I was rather curious as to why they where out here. "My brother is inline for the throne, our Father wants to do away with the Animals and Half Breeds, But ever since we met Nathan and Jason, we now see that what our father believes is wrong, but he won't believe us." She stopped to make sure I was listening. "But Tommy and I have a plan to put an end to this." I was intrigued to say the least. "We asked Nathan and Jason to take us to the King Dragon, so we can negotiate with him, and find out the real evil in the world and stop it." Once she was finished I took in her appearance. 'Well if she plans to go through with this, she needs something else.' "If your going to go through woods and over mountains you'll need something else to wear, wait right here." I said and ran to my camp which wasn't to far of a run in wolf form. So I ran in wolf form and was back in no time. I sat next to Luna again but this time with my bag. "Ok, I brought you my old pare of boots, pants and a top." I handed her the pile of clothes. She and I then went to a bush a good way away from the boys, who where still arguing, only Tom had joined them. Once Luna had changed I took a look at her, the white top, scarlet skin tight pants, and brown leather boots complimented her silver blue eyes and light brown hair, Which she had changed into a bun. "Hm, something's missing..." I thought a bit before it hit me. I took of my huntress coat, and handed it to her for her to put on, this act left me in my huntress pants and boots, and a white top, "There now you look the part and won't freeze." I said. "Oh thank you (Y/N)." She said and hugged me. I froze at this act, it had been forever since I've been hugged so I wasn't used to it. "Oh sorry you must not be used to this." Luna said and let me go. "It's alright, how about we go show the boys your new look?" I offered, Luna nodded yes, so we made our way back to "camp".

Jason POV
I was arguing with Nathan, at some point Tom join in, I forgot what it was exactly we were fighting about. I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see (Y/N) standing there with out her coat on, Luna was standing behind her. "Oh hey girls." I said nudging Nathan in the side as he was about to punch Tom, who was cowering in fear. "WHAT?!" Nathan yelled. (Y/N) jumped at the sudden noise. "Um....uh...Luna wants to show you her new outfit." With that Luna jumped out from behind her. "SURPRISE!!" She yelled coursing (Y/N) to jump again. I looked at Luna's new look and I must say that it looked cute, I then saw Nathan's face, his cheeks where redder than my hair, and his mouth hang open. Tom's reaction was like mine, but Nathan's was priceless. "WHY DO YOU NEED OUR OPINIONS OR SOMETHING?!" He yelled for no reason. (Y/N) jumped and hind behind me this time, "Nathan stop yelling, Luna just wanted to show us her new look, that's all, geez." I sighed, "I don't like yelling." I heard (Y/N) mumble against my back. "Um, Jason are we still going to climb the mountain or go a different route?" (Y/N) asked, 'Oh boy I hadn't thought of that' I mentally thought to myself. "Oi, Jason, you listening?" Nathan brought me out of my thoughts. "Hmm, oh sorry what were you saying?" I asked. "I said do you have a plan to get us home, or am I going to have to come up with something?" Nathan said annoyed. "Oh um well, (Y/N) and I were planning on climbing the mountain so I could point us in the write direction." I said. "We should try to get there by night fall....there's a snow storm coming." (Y/N) sniffing the air. "What do you mean "Snow" storm?" Tom asked, "Wolfie over here is smelling things." Nathan said mockingly. (Y/N) looked offended, but to scared to say anything, instead her ears went flat on her heard, and her tail stopped swaying, and her head hung down. "I've got a better sense of smell, I would've smelt it, plus it's summer." Nathan said walking towards the mountain Luna and Tom hot on his heals. (Y/N) and I not far behind. We started walking through the forest, (Y/N) walked behind us, she had her guard up. We came to a fork in the road, "Which way Nathan?" Tom asked. Everyone looked at (Y/N), "Don't look at me, ask Nathan he seems to have a great sense of smell, I mean I've only lived here for Six Years, but hey what do I know." She said throwing her hands in the air then crossing them over her chest again, her tail swayed villainy behind her, and her voice was laced with anger and annoyance. Everyone was quite after that. "Well which way would you go then?" Nathan asked sarcastically. "Well, if I used my head instead of my pride, and if I'd lived here, I say not to go down the right path because of the white wolfs that live there, and go down the left, sure the left has elf's with sleep darts, but there not gonna be hard to deal with. But uh your the "leader" not me." (Y/N) gave Nathan a sly smirk.

(Y/N) POV
I wasn't stupid, I saw that Nathan was prideful, I wasn't really mad, hurt by his words, but not mad, I smelt his pride when he said that, he was probably trying to make a good impression on Luna. So let's see if he'll let his pride get us killed, a bit of a gamble yes, but I've been down both those paths, so I know what to expect other wise. "Well, take the....right." Nathan said.
