Walking downstairs I started to make some coffee for Rae who had the meanest hangover from the party last night, I drank as much as she did which was a lot and since I'm a wolf we don't get drink which is a real let down, was in my room laying on my bed whispering curses to the world and me being a good friend i decided to make her food and get her aspirin, not that it'll help her.

As I finished everything up i took her coffee and the aspirin which she gladly took as I went back down stairs I couldn't help to think about what that beta wolf was talking about yesterday as we were getting ready to leave for the party. Does the alpha really intend to go to war with me just cause he wanted to meet?

I think you should give the Alpha a chance, maybe he isn't as bad as the rumors make him seem.

I rolled my eyes at my wolf who stomped at me in my mind for being stubborn. Ignoring her i put my earphones in and decided to go on a run, Locking the gate up making sure nothing could get in i started to jog.

Let's run in the woods today! I haven't ran in what feels like forever and i miss the wind flowing through my fur.

I could feel Aenvay purr in my head, laughing a bit i nodded my head while heading deeper inside the woods i felt her sigh with happiness as we were finally away from everything. I didn't stop until i made it to the clearing where there was a lake and a park down the ways. Taking my converse and socks off i stuck my feet inside the cold water relaxing while laying back in the grass.

A couple hours passed by before the midday sun was beating down on me.

"I knew you'd be here."

Startled I jumped while chucking my shoe at the person who spoke up.

"Ouch what the fuck Lynn, you hit my face with your smelly ass shoe."

She grunted while tossing me my shoe back as i rolled back on my back laughing my ass off cause her face was priceless.

"Anyways, don't you still have a hangover?"

She looked down while nodding her head before she took off her sandals and dipped her feet in sitting next to me.

"Honestly i was relaxing but also thinking, I mean Aenvay was telling me to meet with the Alpha like to see what he really wanted, cause les be honest we've been here for a while now maybe 5 years and he never once was concerned with me so why the sudden interest in me?"

She grabbed a rock throwing it into the water before looking at me.

"Honestly i think he finds you as a threat, maybe since you started shifting into Aenvay so much maybe he found you a threat, i know you Sid that your scen is different from Aenvay, so maybe since you started shifting more he picked it up and assumed you're rouge or some bullshit like that. I'm not entirely sure cause me myself i am a human and have no knowledge on this matter."

Rolling my eyes at her I splashed one water at her.

"Right because being in the academy meant you had no knowledge of me and my people as well as the other mystical creatures that only exit in books and moves."

She stuck her tongue out at me before sighing and laying done.

"I talked it over with Aenvay and honestly i might March up there myself cause I'm not sure i want him chasing me."

My wolf snorted knowing fully that i love a good chase.

"Right that's the reason, i think you're just scared of the big bad wolf catching you and you falling for him."
