Rise : Nightcore Version
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile! School has been a distraction but here is the update for this week! Enjoy Lynn's POV on whatever the fuck happened in the clearing! Also huge shout out to my roommate, he gives me pointers on stuff guys say and do so Ace is actually written in a guys POV! First time I've done that so I'm super excited! Anyways on with the story!
Also this will be a special chapter! Mainly cause I'm lazy but I'm going to include Ace's POV in this chapter cause I'm lazy and don't want to write out their conversation, takes to much time. I will only do that every once in a while so enjoy!

It's been two days since the incident at the clearing happened and i refuse to accept the fact that fate has decided that i needed a mate now at this point in time in my life, but for what reason would I need a mate now.
"Hey so I've spent most of my time walking around town looking at the local bookstores cause we both know i love books, and i found this book and i thought you might find it interesting."
I looked over at Rae who was waving a book around, my interest peeked at bit to which she smiled before plopping next to me on my bed.
"First things first, why didn't Aenvay show her eyes while she was speaking to Alpha Ace?"
"The color of my eyes are rare Rae, if rouges or other wolves were to see them they would hunt me down and sell me or worst kill me for them. For as long as i can remember my parents always told me to never show my eyes to anyone, you are the only one who has seem them and is still alive if that makes sense. My parents said it was because of some legend."
I poked at her and her eyes widen as she started flipping through the book. Curious i scooted closer to see what she was freaking out about.
"Here!"
Confused i grabbed the book and started reading out loud.
"Legend has it that a long time ago durning the times of the great kingdom Camelot, Alpha King Arthur Pendragon and his wife Alpha Queen Guinevere Pendragon lived as the first Alpha king and queen of the lands. Along with The Great Wizard Merlin, they ruled over the creatures known as wolves. The eyes of the royals were known to be the rarest of them all and beautiful. Purple eyes were the color of royalty and anyone who dared to see them and lived told some of the greatest stories that were passed down from generation to generation."
Confused i looked to Rae who was pondering over what i just read before she took the book to continue reading the story.
"Legend has it that there is still one descendant of the once and future Alpha King Arthur Pendragon. As the story goes, in time of need Arthur Pendragon will rise in his descendant untied the factions together in a time of war and sorrow bringing peace to the four lands once more, but beware of the one who will challenge this descendant wanting to take the thrown for their own selfish ways. Legend says that this descendant is of the Great Lady Morgana Pendragon, sister of Arthur Pendragon, who will challenge the future and kill his descendant taking the thrown by force."
Lynn our eyes are purple, does this mean we are the descendant of the great Arthur Pendragon?
Confusion crossed my face as i started to process everything that we both read. Suddenly my eyes widen in realization of something.
'Rae."
She was distracted reading further into the book trying to get more information and wrap her head around it.
"Listen Lynn what if the legends are true."
"Rae."
I said it little more forceful this time but she kept on talking trying to understand this without it being overwhelming.
