We stepped into the cabin hurriedly, and Charles and Zu looked at us weirdly.
"We need to go." I said out of breath, and when they hesitated,
"Now." Liam said. They both jumped up, but as soon as we walked out of the tents, what we saw would scar us forever. Kids. Screaming and running. Everywhere. A huge helicopter in the air. And there I was, little Y/n King.. scared and afraid.. Kids jumped down from the helicopter, their eyes glowing. Then they opened their mouths and released a current of fire.. scattering many of the kids. I ran around, trying to get away from everything, when,
"Y/n." I turned. I turned and I saw him.
"Clancy." My mouth went dry. I couldn't tell if it was from the fire-breathing kids, or from how nervous I was. He held out his hand.
"Come with us, or we result.. the hard way." I clenched my jaw, and stood up straighter.
"No." Then he lunged and before I could realize anything, they had him. They had Liam. My insides leaned to him, to get him back.
"Let him go, Clancy!" I screamed. He grinned. All of the terrorism and HE FUCKING GRINNED.
"I don't think so, come with us. Now." My nails were now digging into my skin.
"She said no." Liam said, weakly. They punched him. Omfgtheypunchedmysenpaitheywillneverlivetoseethelightofdayeveragain.
"Touch him again." I dared them, staring straight into Clancys eye. I carefully touched Zu's hand, she knew what to do. And with a spark of light, I grabbed Liam and ran. I just ran. Tears were streaming down my eyes but I still ran. Zu and Chubs were closely behind us. We heard an, 'AH' and saw that chubs tried to shield us from the fire wackos. His face was burning off.... no joke. I grabbed his arm, and ran again. Soon, we reached a place far enough away. I softly set chubs against a tree, and pulled out a locket the field had given me. I felt Liam put his hand on mine,
"What are you doing?" He asked me. I looked at him, eyes filled to the brim with tears.
"I'm calling help." He looked in my eyes and knew it was the field.
"No." Was all he said.
"You better fucking shut up, Look at chubs, He risked his life to save us and now 'No'" I mimicked him in disgust, Chubs was lying there with Zu next to him, dying, and Liam had the Audacity to say no. I pressed the button and closed my eyes, Liam said nothing, but wrapped his arms around me for comfort. I was asleep by the time the field arrived....
