Another day, another annoying day around people I don't like. Well, I really don't have a problem with anyone, I just prefer not to associate with them which is why I wish I was at home in bed right now.

Also, I barely got any sleep last night because of these nightmares that I usually get around this type of year. I knew they would return seeing as it's so close to the date that the incident happened, but it didn't make it any easier. I knew the date was coming up, but I thought if I ignored it, it wouldn't bother me as much as it did in the past. I guess, I was just lying to myself. Once again.

Now I'm standing at my locker with my lack of sleep evident all over my face. I honestly just wanted to get this day over with.

As I was getting the last of my books, I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. Who in their right mind would think of touching me? Especially this early in the damn morning.

I slowly turn around to come face to face with the brave soul who decided to touch me. Of course, it was none other than Ken himself. Didn't he get enough yesterday? That thought brought the image of his face from yesterday into mind and once again I started feeling bad deep, deep down.

"Uhhh," Jace paused and scratched the back of his neck, nervously, "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for yesterday. I didn't mean to upset you and insinuate that I know you. If you took it in a bad way my b..."

"Dude," I sighed, "I already told you it's not a big deal."

"I know, but I didn't want you to be upset about it."

"I'm not. So, you can drop it," I said, rolling my eyes. I did not have time for this right now. I'm certainly not in the mood to converse with anyone.

As I was about to excuse myself from this meaningless conversation, I saw Barbie coming towards us from my peripheral vision. Oh, great. Just what I needed.

"Hey, Jace," she stated flirtatiously, "I was wondering if you were still coming to my party tonight. It's going to be great, but only if you show."

"Yeah, I'll be there," he said with a big smile, "it's never a party without me around." Oh, look. He's back.

Seeing as I was not a part of this conversation and that Barbie was obviously purposely ignoring my presence, I closed my locker and was about to take my leave until I was interrupted.

"Sariah do you want to maybe come along?" Jace asked expectantly.

"This party is invitation only, and she's not invited," Chelsea butt in before I could even deny Jace's invitation. I internally rolled my eyes.

"Chelsea you don't..."

"Was that supposed to hurt my feelings," I said cutting Jace off mid sentence, "because it didn't. Nice try though," I turn to Jace before she could respond, "Thanks for the invite, but I'd much rather not go through the torture of hanging with someone who's head is so stuck up their ass that they think the world revolves around them." I shot a glance towards Chelsea and turned around leaving them. I just knew they were staring at me as I left so I put a little attitude in my step.

It was now time for lunch and I felt like my brain was about to explode. For some reason all of my teacher's decided to spring pop quizzes on us. It's like they all had a secret meeting to decide how to torture us. And they obviously succeeded. Plus, my lack of sleep was really catching up to me and I felt like utter shit and I'm pretty sure I looked like it too.

I walked into the cafeteria and made a beeline to get my food. If anything could make my day better, it's definitely food. So, like I always do, I'm going to drown my sorrows by eating.
