You were finally gonna be together forever. Travelling the world, away from Freeridge. You were gonna risk it all just for him because you loved him. He was home.

"Cesar!" I yell out as he is about to step onto the bus. He turns to look at me and a flash of relief was on his face. He drops his backpack and runs to me, picking me up swiftly as my legs automatically lock around him. We hold each other tightly, not wanting to let go.

"I thought I wouldn't have the chance to say goodbye."

"There's no need for goodbyes because I'm coming with you."

His expression drops, "what? no. Y/N you can't."

"I can. I cannot just leave you alone in the world."

"Y/N you have to stay here. You have your friends, school--"

"None of that matters if you're not here with me. I want to be with you..." I was ready to say the 3 words I've been putting off saying for the past year or so but oh well, "... because I love you Cesar."

His face expressions softens, "and I always will. Freeridge is nothing to me if you're not here because wherever you are, you're my home, my friend, my family and my life. So please don't tell me not to go because I don't know what I will do without you. Just let me be with you Cesar."

He rests his hands on my jawline and pulls me in for a passionate kiss. And through that kiss I knew he loved me back. It reassured me and backed up his words.

He pulls away and rests his forehead on mine, "okay."

I smile brightly, "okay."

He grasps my hand as he leads me onto the bus, sitting side by side in a row. I look out the window and wave goodbye to Ruby, Jamal and Monse one last time as they gladly wave back.

The start of a new journey with the one I love.
