39 - rival kidnapping

Cesar is pacing around Ruby's living room as the gang watch him go from one end to another.

"How do you even know they took y/n?"

"They sent a message. Either I bring my brother's head in a bag or they'll kill her."

"But why y/n?"

"Because..." he pauses for a second and avoids eye contact with Monse specifically, "...she's my weakness."

Jamal and Ruby turn to Monse whose face is showing all kinds of hurt. Jamal and Ruby look at each other basically saying '..awkwardddd'.

"Look, can we deal with this later. I need your help," Cesar says panicking.

"Well, where do they want to meet you?" Ruby asks.

"A warehouse on the outskirts of town. Midnight."

"Then what are you waiting for?" A new voice rings throughout the living room as they all turn and look at Oscar at the door, "are we going or what?"

"You can't seriously be considering giving the Prophet$ your head, right?" Cesar asks.

"No, but she's important to you so she's important to me," Oscar says as he walks away before Cesar could respond. They all look amongst each other and all rush out of the house shortly after.

They pull up to the warehouse as instructed and Oscar kills the engine, "the rest of the Santos will pull a sneak attack. We just need to stall as much as we can-"

Suddenly shots go off and the echos from inside the warehouse. Cesar is the first to comprehend, thinking that y/n is hurt and runs out of the car and into the warehouse. Everyone is not far behind.

They run in expecting the worse but what they saw was beyond what they thought. The ground was littered with bodies and in the middle of it all was Y/N standing, perfectly fine. Covered in blood but fine.

She turns around once she heard everyone enter and waves the gun around, "it took you guys this long to rescue me?"

"Y/N..." they're all in shock.

"You guys can handle the clean up right?"

Cesar lets out a sigh of relief and he hears Oscar chuckling from beside him, "yeah, you got one loco girlfriend there, little bro."
