Chapter 14

Maya POV

I am busy packing for Texas.
It feels kinda weird...leaving without Riley.

She doesn't even know we leaving.

Should I tell her?
No.
You right I am being stupid.
Yeah and you talking to yourself.
Yeah that too.

"What the hell is wrong with me?" I asked whispering to myself not exactly expecting anyone to answer.

"Nothing."

Uhhm. What the fuck?

"What?" I asked turning around quite fast. I wouldn't be surprised if I somehow ended up on the floor.

And my eyes were bestowed upon Farkle.

"I said nothing. Nothing is wrong with you." He said while smiling.

"What are you doing in my room Farkle?" I asked exhausted.

"Wow nice to see you too." But that wasn't Farkle. It was Zay.

I just blinked my eyes confused at them.

"Maya be grumpy." And that was Lucas.

"Rawr bitch" said Smackle.

"Okay why are you all here?" I asked exhausted.

"We were thinking that we all just go now ,cause we all done packing." Said Farkle.

I nodded. "K let's go. But I have to do one thing first."

I went up the firescape by Riley's window and left a note on the bay window. Then closed the window.

We all got in Lucas's Buckie then drove the the train station.

We gave our tickets got and got ready for the trip to Pappy Joe's house.

Riley's POV

I woke up this morning feeling like complete shit.

I know now I was in the wrong. And I am not sure how to fix it.

"Hey sweetie your mom and I are just going out. Auggie is with a friend." My dad said as he stuck his head through the window.

"D-Dad what did I do?" I ask tears brimming my eyes.

He sighed then sat on the edge of my bed.

"Riley you did a bad thing. And I am very disappointed in you. But I can't help you with this one. You have to figure this out by yourself." He then got up and walked to the door.

"Do you think everything will be okay?"

He turned his head slightly. "Yeah I do Riley." Then glanced to my Bay window. "You have mail."

Then left.

I got up and walked towards the bay window the place everything begun. The place of happiness and heartbreak. Friendships. Everything was unfolded right here.

And there's a note.

It's Peaches handwriting.

Riles.

We all still need time but I thought I should tell you that we all gone for the weekend. We will only come back on Tuesday.
