The morph was strange because there wasn't much change other than height. Looking at the brown eyes staring at me from the mirror was definitely something I needed to get used to, as well. The way I felt was stronger and freer than I had before as well.

"Ready?" a voice said from the doorway.

When I turned to look I met a pair of green eyes covered with equally green hair. I said, "No," in a voice quite different from what I'm used to.

"Good," my voice said from somewhere other than me.

No matter how often we'd done this, I couldn't seem to get used to the change of voices. Since acquiring each other a few days ago, we had practiced using each other's bodies. Usually, it was night, but today we were going to mess with the twins.

Our first plan had been for me to morph Caleb and create a twin effect that would drive them crazy. Caleb had morphed me, however, and the hair had stayed green. Normal morphs go by DNA, but somehow Caleb's hadn't. The new plan then required Caleb, as me, to out-surf the twins, well Drake. Somehow his skill with a surfboard had improved.

Leaving the bathroom, Caleb said, "You feel strange."

"That would be the genetic defect or whatever it's called," I said. "Now hush before the twins hear you."

We found Josh playing Grand Theft Auto IV in the living room. Playing is actually the wrong word. He had hacked into it and now had access to every cheat code, glitch, and hidden access.

"Why do you play games when all you do is cheat?" Caleb asked, sitting on the arm of the couch in the near perfect imitation of me.

"You two have been all buddy-buddy the last few days," he said, ignoring the question. He looked up "Did you confess your undying love for one another?"

"Where is Drake?" I asked, trying to turn this conversation somewhere safer.

"I am Drake," Josh said.

I opened my mouth to argue, but Caleb beat me to it, "He finally gets it right and you try to confuse him? How dare you!"

Oh yeah, Caleb can't tell the difference between the twins.

Josh sighed, "Fine. Drake said he was going surfing."

"Want to see Dak ride the waves?" I asked, putting my arm around Caleb and pulling him into my lap as I flopped down beside Josh on the couch.

"Already saw it," he said as he outmaneuvered a cop in the game.

"Are you saying you don't want to see me kick your brother's ass on the board?" Caleb said sounded slightly offended.

"I'm saying that you only ever stood on the board once," that said as Josh leaned to the right, as if prompting the character on screen to turn sharper.

I leaned over and touch the button sending his character into a storefront and destroying it's nice car. "He's been practicing. You'd be surprised."

"The hell was that for?" Josh yelled.

"Caleb knows you won't go unless you're done with the game," Drake said from the doorway. He was wearing board shorts and a damp t-shirt, but his curly hair wasn't wet. "I for one want to see Dak out-surf me."

That seemed to settle it for Josh because he turned the game off and got up. "I'll go change," he said, leaving the room.

Within 15 minutes we were heading towards the beach, surf boards in hand. Since it was now competition between Drake, Josh, and Caleb, we decided that three boards were needed instead of four. I would be staying on the beach.

Quite a few people were milling around when we got to the surfing area. Some were catching waves, others just lounging around.

Caleb looked back at me as we headed towards the water. We'd forgotten about the other people who would be there. It wouldn't have been a problem, but Caleb is popular everywhere.

"Yo! Catching some waves today?" A dark haired, dark skinned guy asked as he walked up. Two blonde girls followed and another was pressed against his side.

A kid around 12 was bouncing along behind the group with a surfboard.

"Nah. Just seeing if the twins are still better," I said, hoping I sounded normal.

"Oh, come on man. I wanted to knock you off your board," the kid said.

"You can't knock Caleb off his board," one of the blonde said. "You can barely stay on it yourself. She walked up and wrapped her arms around me.

I fought down the urge to jerk away because that was my reaction not what Caleb would do. Putting my arm around her I said to the kid, "One day you'll leave them knock me off my board."

"Let's go find a good spot to watch," the other blond said.

The twins and Caleb waved and headed towards the surf.

Leaving an arm around the first blonde's shoulders, I led the way to a spot part-way up a nearby cliff that gave a clear view of where those surfing were.

"Sweet spot dude," the guy (I think his name was Jamie or something) said.

With a small chuckle, I said, "Found it last year." I had found it when I needed alone time from Caleb. There was a place better than this but I didn't want these people in it.

Both blondes came and sat on either side of me when I sat on the edge of the cliff.

My hair blended well with water, but the board was white and purple. The twins had orange and yellow ones. The first few waves Caleb was unsuccessful at staying on the board and I didn't know if he was trying to boost the twins confidence and egos, or if he was having trouble with the morph.

It had been late when we came out and the waves were becoming more dangerous as night crept closer.

"He hasn't gotten better," Jamie said.

"Jay, shouldn't we be heading home soon?" the girl with Jamie said, pouting. The other two blondes had already gotten bored and left, thankfully.

"He said he'd been practicing," I said, getting resettled. I had just wandered off to demorph and remorph.

"Last wave," the kid said, pointing to what looked like the biggest wave so far.

Oh no. Caleb had turned towards it.

So had the twins.

I could tell those two were gloating from where I sat.
