"Tom, I need to talk to you about something," I say to him, sitting on the coffee table in front of him. We had mainly packed up everything in the tiny apartment, just the basics left. We move in tomorrow, and we couldn't be more ready.
"What's wrong love?" he asks, worry spread all over his face. He pauses the show he was watching, and sits up more. "Is it something bad?"
"No, no of course not, I just don't know how I'm going to say this." I take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves a little bit. "We haven't really talked about this before, and I know we're pretty young, like come on, you turn 23 in a few weeks, but I think we can do this."
"You're scaring me love, what's wrong? What are we too young for?"
"I'm pregnant," I whisper, and I'm not sure he heard me. When I look up at him though, I can see he has a huge smile on his face.
"You're pregnant?" I nod my head yes. "Oh my God!" he yells, standing up and pulling me into him. "We're going to be parents!"
