Part 30

-still Joe's POV-

As we continued walking to the café to get hot cocoa, y/n was letting me hold her hand. We got to the café and got our hot cocoa and sat down. The café was decorated for Christmas and the decorations looked really nice and pretty all set up.

Joe: they sure can decorate for Christmas.
Y/n: yeah.

We laughed a little.

Joe: so are you excited for Christmas?
Y/n: of course I am! Even though there's still quite a bit of time to wait.

She laughed and we continued to talk until we finished our hot cocoa. We left the café around 6:30. As we were walking out the door, I noticed there was mistletoe hung up in the door way. I stopped walking and pulled y/n close and we kissed.

Y/n: what was that about?

She asked.

Joe: look up.

She looked and saw the mistletoe.

Y/n: oh.

She blushed a little bit and so did I then we started to walk back to the house. She let me hold her hand again which made me happy. When we got to our houses we hugged each other and said goodnight then I went into my house and she went into her house.

Jason: where have you been?
Joe: I just went on a walk and got hot cocoa.
Jason: oh? By yourself?
Joe: well y/n was with me so no I wasn't alone. Jason: oh. He looked a bit upset.
Joe: are you and y/n going to get back together? Jason: I don't know at this point but I really hope so. It kills me to not be with her, I love her so much. Why do you care?
Joe: oh...umm...
Jason: you still like her don't you... and you want to be with her
. Joe: yeah.
Jason: so you're probably hoping that we don't get back together huh!?
Joe: no, it's not like that! I'll be happy for the two of you if you get ack together but I would sure like it if I get to be with her cause I love her too.
Jason: yeah whatever.

He rolled his eyes.

Joe: look, I just want what's best for y/n cause I want her to be happy so if that means her being with you then that's it, but my feelings aren't going to change for her.
Jason: and mine won't either.
Joe: then there's nothing we can do but wait for her.

I went to my room and sat down on my bed and started to watch YouTube videos. Once it was 9, I went to bed.
