Chapter 19

Lisa's POV

I am early for school today. I have my first class with Jennie and I NEED to see her. I can now clearly remember what happened that night. The night I spent with Rosie... I didn't just make that up in my mind. I know it was real. Whatever the hell is happening right now, Jennie must have something to do with it.

Our teacher has already arrived, but Jennie was still not around. I asked Tzuyu, who was sitting beside me, "Hey, do you know if Jennie's coming to class?"

"No idea. I haven't seen her for several days," she replied.

"Really?"

"Yeah, haven't you noticed?"

"Not really. Anyway, thanks."

"Sure."

Well, that's weird. Where could she be?

After class, I approached Mr. Yang. "Hi, Mr. Yang."

"Yes, Ms. Manoban. How can I help you?"

"Sorry to bother, but I just want to ask if you know what happened to Jennie? We noticed she hasn't been going to school lately."

"You mean, Jennie Kim?" He asked.

"Yes, Mr. Yang."

"Well, I heard she moved back to New Zealand a few days ago."

"Oh, okay... Thanks, Mr. Yang. I better get to my next class now. Bye!"

"Okay, bye," he replied.

Shit. Shit. She's back in New Zealand!? How the hell am I gonna find her now? I don't even know where in New Zealand she lives.

As I was heading to my locker, I saw Sana and Tzuyu arguing.

"Didn't I tell you not to go to the cheer tryouts?" Sana said angrily.

"But I wanted to go and it's really none of your business," Tzuyu replied.

"This bitch." Then Sana pushed Tzuyu to the ground and started pulling at her hair.

"Hey, back off! Leave Tzuyu alone!" I told Sana.

"Get out of the way, lunatic! I'm not gonna be nice to you just because your girlfriend's dead," she said.

"What the hell!?" At that point, I just didn't care. I smacked her head so hard, it hit the lockers.

Serves her right for being a fucking bully.

That was when the other students started to intervene. "Whoa, ladies! Let's cool down for a bit," said Bambam as he came in between us.

"Well, she started it!" I said.

Sana tried to lunge at me, but Mark stopped her. "We ain't done yet, Manoban!" She said as she walked away.

"Hey Lisa, thanks a lot for helping me," said Tzuyu.

"Nah, thank you. I was finally able to smack that bitch," I said.

"Yeah, she deserved that. Anyway, I should probably go to the Registrar's Office now."

"Tzuyu, wait."

"What is it?"

"You're a student employee at the Registrar's Office, right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I just need to ask you for a little favor. Would that be okay?"

"What kind of favor?"

"Can you check Jennie Kim's records? I just need to know her address in New Zealand," I said. "Um, 'cause I gotta mail her something," I lied.

"Sure, I'll see what I can do."

"Thanks."

"No prob," she replied.

Moments later, Tzuyu sent me a snap of Jennie's basic information. Gotcha.
